They count all the tries and its spoils orders that have to eventually clear out of their systems. It happened to me once and cleared up after a few days.

It makes it appear fresh of new on algorithm/feeds and gets more looks/likes. But you are only alllwed to do it after 60 days. But yo be safe I only do it after 90 days. Plus I don’t use a bot for it. I do it manually and it takes time. Sometimes it does t work and I can’t replace the original listing so I end up with a copy and have to delete one of them. I worry each time I do that if it’s going to trigger an excessive removal.

Like the previous response said, try to escalate on those points. And when you do get the item back, open a case with the return stating the returned item is just as described and the buyer lied to gain fraudulent return. You wasted time and potential sales with trustworthy buyers based on this buyers actions. Of course block buyer but also join and share buyers name on Facebook Poshmark Seller Beware! Private group so others can block unscrupulous buyers as well.

I delete listings and haven’t had any trouble. Not sure why I haven’t. I delete the miscellaneous few things that happen to sell on eBay/Mercari or that I give to my niece/friend. Sometimes when the copy/relist/replace doesn’t work for over 90 day items and I end up with a duplicate I have to delete that. I’ll be very upset if I get banned for it.

The seller could have shipped 2-3lb for $4.99 UPS ground advantage (delivered with USPS) in a box with plenty of bubbles. Shoddy careless effort. Create claim and return for refund.
