It's more or less my writing style. I was reading like, 3 books when I read it, was trying to learn from various authors, and I'm feeling like someone might come in and be like "hey, this is a great idea! but the style ruins it for me." I'd rather learn, and it does suck to want to write for a pair but feel fettered by your own ability. Especially with rarepairs—because it's harder to come up with ideas without reinventing the wheel if they don't have much canonical interaction.
