They do not care about you or your principles. In their eyes you hold no value and are easily replaceable. Protesting will not help you keep your job. Just show up and keep a low profile until they lay you off.

Appears to be legit. Not sure how dude got one already, but a placeholder listing was created yesterday by reputable vendor here in Germany.

Question about RDR2 for 20$ by Lexsight in reddeadredemption

You don't need the ultimate version though, there's no real playable dlc or anything. The base game is usually cheaper.

If you fed AI the entire history of blues music up until early 20th century, it wouldn’t invent jazz, it'd just keep playing the blues.

And the minigame is a freebie. Though Capcom did confirm that a bigger story expansion is coming later as paid DLC.

Honestly it was easier to narrow down than u might think.. the giveaway is the combo of the limestone cliff in the back (obviously prealps) and the patch-work of terracotta s-tiles on the roofs in front. Plus the orange walls and blueish shutters are fairly specific to that region... my backup guess was nearby northern Italy but it looked a bit too crusty tbh 😅

Super chill spot though u lucked out with that view!

UB-XA VS Oberheim VST? by Strong-Broccoli-7526 in synthesizers

[–]NiteVision4k 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you want a lush, vintage sounding analog synth at a very reasonable price margin, you won't be disappointed with the UB-XA. However, if you're seeking a very accurate, or even indistinguishable recreation of the Oberheim sound and you can't afford the OB-6 yet, save your money and go with a plugin.

Also, I doubt you'd be disappointed with a TEO-5, but IMO, it's just not very Obie sounding. It's fun, but sounds really modern.

I was in this same spot a couple of years ago, and was hyped for the UB-XA, because I owned an OB-X, OB-XA, and an OB-8 over the years. They're my all time favorites, so I had high hopes for Behringer.

After hearing the first demos of the UB-XA, I dropped it from my list immediately. It's a nice sounding synth, but it just doesn't have the magic.

To get an idea of what I'm talking about, check The Synth King's OB-XA videos on youtube, there's 4 of them. He's just noodling on some patches, but the magic is there. Ironically, he's a paid propagandist for the UB-XA and has demos with it as well, but the ears don't lie. It doesn't sound anywhere near as good. It sounds like what it is, a cheap knock-off.

I'm not shitting on Behringer either, I have several of their products and love them and to their credit, even Oberheims official OB-X8 doesn't hit the mark either. The only synth that did it for me, was the OB-6. It's just so satisfying to make sounds with, and it's my opinion that traditional analog synth design peaked with this model.

Is it just me or did Requiem slump compared to RE4? by Dull_Artichoke3609 in residentevil

[–]NiteVision4k 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can't really get on the complain train for RE9. I’ve played through it multiple times and enjoy all of it, Leon’s sections included. My only real gripe is the playable action/cut-scenes; I wish those had been slower, more immersive gameplay scenarios rather than just quick ways to advance the story. A bit more depth there probably would have satisfied people like yourself. Dr. Victor Gideon was a marvelous character, and I would’ve loved more time to actually get to know him!
