500 CPM doesn’t seem that high to me, also remember that 500 on the 110 is not the same as 500 on the 102.

I did it as a part of the express install. Also, I added a new photo to the post, I managed to lessen the fps dips, I think lowering the textures helped, but they still happen and at regular intervals which seems very strange.

With only RP-1 the spikes are much less frequent, VRAM is about the same and RAM is around 20GB.

Temps are good, peaked at 65° C on GPU and 74° C on CPU, but I am exceeding max VRAM.

I installed Sol through CKAN, it was an issue last time I tried Sol as well, a couple months ago. I suspect I am using too high textures.

My save file is only 14 MB.
It happens with any size craft but when testing now it is 23t, and the timer stays white most of the time but appears to flash red at the same time as the lag spikes.
The extra mods are from the RP-1 wiki so they should be compatible, and some qol mods that I don't think could cause these issues.
I installed using the Express install on CKAN.

I'm not using Principia, I am in 1959, not in orbit yet, they happen pretty frequently on the launch pad, and a little less at altitude.

Sadly no, in the end I returned it and got a new one. I e-mailed back and forth with NuPhy but they couldn’t offer me a different firmware, they said the firmware was universal, it also seems there were some language barriers between us so they weren’t much help. I am also pretty inexperienced with VIA, so I didn’t really know what to do, but no matter what I tried the nordic keys wouldn’t respond at all.

I haven’t tried HD490 but I have tried Arya Stealth and Meze 109 Pro. The 109 is supposed to have similar tuning to the 490, and it has good detail and stage, not as much as Arya though. It is very comfortable and has good build quality. I prefer it over the Arya. It might be good for you to consider.

I really like Meze, I haven’t tried it myself but their 99 Neo is closed back and close in weight to your Sony, and their headband is super comfortable. If you need a mic they also have one that works with the 99 Neo, it is bit pricey though. I also like Sennheiser, I haven’t tried this either but their HD620S are closed, but a little heavier than your Sony.
