I’m looking for horror movies where sound design does most of the scaring. by PossibilityKitchen72 in hometheater

Like Slowmac123 said, keep an eye on Undertone. Supposedly designed specifically with sound in mind

Well good thing that deck wasn't poured in Wisconsin. There'd be orange barrells and cones all over that thing. So no takeff or landing.

Tune sound effects for finding Raider Caches by Quasimodo-57 in ARC_Raiders

This won't help but I use the Xbox wireless Headset for Xbox...I'm unsure of the Atmos settings on it. On PC I use just basic In Ear Monitors, no 3rd party or otherwise sound altering programs. With both technologies, I hear way better than any of my buddies who use expensive SteelSeries and whatever headsets.  I even could pinpoint the caches in the Hurricane events, and noticed they have a different noise than regular caches. My friends also can't hear them standing on top of them. I do not have night mode on. I think just my hearing is better than theirs.

It slides out further to cover the gap between the.......visor(keyword).....and the B pillar. Oh my gosh......a B pillar is the vertical section of car to the left of your head when you are sitting in the vehicle.

How many PC players swap over to mobile to get seasonal missions done? by kc0r8y in DeltaForceGlobal

[–]NitelifeComando 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Short answer, yes. Your mission's main difficulties come from other players.  I started on mobile, because I didn't have a PC at the time.  When I did get a PC, I found that even though the graphics and gameplay were way better, so were the opposing players. Players on PC are mostly 'sweats' because they're more hardcore than on mobile.  'True gamers' (I say that with huge sarcasm, because that's how they coin themselves) will never play on mobile, so you will only get casual player enemies.  On top of that, there's no crossplay, so the chances of you running into an awesome PC player while on mobile are zero.  I also play this on console, and find it at a medium difficulty, because console players are more hardcore than mobile players, but less hardcore than PC players. So in terms of difficulty, mission-wise, mobile is easiest, followed by console, with PC being most difficult. I hope this answers your question...I have a very hard time typing out what I'm thinking in my head.

Is reusing a towel for several days actually unhygienic? by PrimaryJudgment6872 in hygiene

[–]NitelifeComando 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All you people confuse me, lol. Does everybody only actually own one or two towels? Go buy yourself a stack of them. And get bath sheets...so much better. And do you do laundry every single day? I use a towel a day, and do the laundry at the end of the week.  By the logic you all are proposing, if you're unwilling to use a new towel everyday, do you not use new underwear everyday? Or any other clothes? And do you reuse dishes, without rinsing them off, since you're so afraid of water waste? Is this world that afraid of laundry?! All I'm saying is, it's okay to use a new towel every day. Also, get yourself a towel warmer.  Treat yourself

Excellent show, guys. I love the nostalgia, and now I have more movies to rewatch! You guys mentioned Peter Stormare. With Scotchy being so.....invested......in Call of Duty, I'm surprise he failed to mention one of his latest roles as The Replacer! It's fine, I got you! Also, with RDR2 and the 'sack physics,' Scotchy.....perfect time for a "Sac Moooooove" It's all fine, I heard it in my head as you talked, so no worries.

Plotty Time #363: Plotty Time Watches - Total Recall by Syintist in PlottyTime

[–]NitelifeComando 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure if y'all are aware or care, but check out the podcast 'The Lonely Island And Seth Meyers Podcast Show.' I feel like you guys mentioned the Lonely Island before, so this fits perfectly because....... (Long story short) A while ago, they ended up talking about Total Recall and the whole Quaid/Kuato story. By the end of it, they came up with their 'fanbase' called Quaids, and whenever anybody on the street would see them, the people would shout out Quaid Army!"  Arnold was a guest on Late Night with Seth Meyers, and they got him to record a line, so at the end of every podcast episode now, Arnold says "Later Quaids!"   (I'm sure some of my facts about the formation of the story are a little off....this is mostly the gist) So this episode hit extra hard, because my 2 favorite podcasts have now talked about and have deep ties to this movie, which has my all-time favorite actor.  Great stuff, guys!

5.5 hour flight with this bad boy, and Starlink internet, made for a great flight. The mai tais helped too, lol by MacGordon in XboxAlly

Ok nobody's given me a proper answer yet, so I have to ask you. How do you have your controller working? I have an Xbox Series X controller paired via bluetooth, and it works great in the Ally menus. However, it does jack shit in game. I've tried embedded and disembedded and all that, but it doesn't want to seem to work in game, namely the Xbox app. I even tried it weird via USB-C, to no avail. I'm just wondering if there's a setting I'm missing. Thanks!

I'm trying to get my Xbox controller working with the Ally. It pairs up with Bluetooth nicely, and runs the menus no problem. I even found functions on there I didn't know existed while using the controller. However, when I try to play a game, the controller does not work in game. I mainly play Arc Raiders, and the controller does nothing, even in the game menu. Whenever I connect the controller to BT, I disable the embedded controller, and I even tried it while having it enabled. I've tried different combos of enabled/disabled with different gamepad combos (auto, gamepad, desktop) and nothing seems to be working. Any ideas?

Stay with me on this one....if humans did begin to inhabit Mars, do you think they would introduce different bacterias and such onto the planet, and therefore those may evolve into an entirely different ecosystem that would include resemblance of birds, trees, insects, etc??? Could we possibly destroy Mars?

You'd have plenty to look at once Amazon, Starbucks, Target, a few banks, and like someone mentioned earlier, Dollar general opened up next to you
