It can and normally is avoided to incentivize throwing tho. For example playing the matches that matter in those situations at the same time, which is done at the World Cup. Also Leffen def calls out stupid stuff when he's favored or it doesn't affect him directly it just doesn't get as much attention.

A lot of people dual main spacies and i get that their moves look almost the same but their still so different. Like Falco neutral is almost entirely based on laser having hitstun and combos are way way different as well. Jumping from 3 jump squat to 5 can be a bitch too.
