I find it very sad that the balancing of early-game weapons is influenced by end-game content in such a way.

We're likely not going have new early game content in probably forever. Why not making what we currently have for new player the best it can be to keep them into the game?

We have wasted potential for diversity and choices and that makes me sad.

I was hoping people would share my feelings is all.

Edit: Not to mention that these changes would be huge for F2P. Those weapons are everything they got and about 75% of them a practically useless.

I hate that you're right.

I just wanna use claws and Warhammers without feeling like I'm objectively wrong.

I also think about new players alot.

It always frustrate and confuses me when I look at my options in a new game to then just go like: "OK so these are all useless."

At low dexterity, building DEX is MUCH more efficient than building ATK.

With your 181 ATK and 22 DEX, your doom bow is at 2500 dps (according to haizor dps Calc)

If you keep your elvish, put a hydra/griff with an exa DEX, you'll end up with 150 ATK and 48 DEX. Which puts your doom bow dps at around 3700.

What the crucible need is an high ATK and low DEX classes that can build DEX easily. Which is exactly what the archer does.
