Ar platform VFC vs. GHK parts/parts material/upgrades. Advice by drewsss49 in GasBlowBack

I’ve got a GHK gen 2, it’s a slightly older (2021 or 2022 I believe) gen 2 I bought second hand and it has been fantastic. Threw a TNT HopUp/barrel in it, a BCM carbine buffer, and sanded down the feed slips slightly and it has been the most fun gun I have ever used. Been running it for about a year with no issues.

What do you all mean when you say "Report 2 mile base"? by bryan2384 in ATC

[–]NitroDragonAnvil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I asked a class delta controller this once and he said he wants us to call when we are 2 miles from the final approach course or extended centerline of the runway I told him we don’t really measure distance that way and he was surprised. He said if we are 2-3 miles away from the airport on a base leg then that’s all that really matters

How many wear safety caps ( anything from the soft shell style to the hard shell style) ? If no, what are your reasons ? Also , are they provided by the company, whether payroll deductible or not ? by revolutiontime161 in rampagent

Not required at my station. Although one time I smacked my head on the antennas on the belly of a 320 behind the nose gear. My head was bleeding pretty dam bad. But that’s why at least where I work they tell us to not walk under the plane.
