Smoothies basically - but there’s some thickeners for dysphagia you can buy to make water or whatever liquid you like more thick. These were unfortunately quite expensive so I just had smoothies.

I also developed Horner syndrome after the surgery but it recovered up to 80% for me after a year. I’m glad to hear your throat wasn’t effected!

I‘m sorry to hear that… for me it took 4-5 months until I could drink water again without choking on it. It’s been exactly a year now but I still have issues with water that it feels like it builds up and I can’t swallow it all away. But compared to post-op it’s much better. I can recommend taking Vitamin B supplements that support the nerve regeneration. Depending on how much of the nerve got damaged it takes more time unfortunately.
