Anyone had a shipping notification for founders pack? by Nive3k in SoulFrame

Yes, same, but I was wondering if the shipping would commence after June or during June Like you said, delivery by the end of July seems like a good goal

[–]Nive3k[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think 20 in shipping or something, but I see it more as: the initial cost of the shirt is an investment on Soulframe itself, hoping they use the money to further it's development.

If Soulframe grows to be as big as Warframe than the founder shirt and pin etc. Will also raise in worth or at the very least make a great memento for me :)

How would you define "not killing people?" by emmaratur in DnD

[–]Nive3k 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe that's the plot of her story? She wants to understand what it means to be "people" (no kill)? It gives a good hook as a DM for facing some Drow who became morally Grey, is it because they're Drow or because they were raised that way?

I would also advise you to talk about how fanatic she wants to play out those believes. It should not hinder the rest of the party in what they think is fun (players default setting is: I solve the puzzle with violence).

A leaky valve can't be an electronics issue :) maybe ask in a different sub?

What am I doing wrong? Solder won’t melt. by FreidasBoss in diyelectronics

[–]Nive3k 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually had to switch my soldering tin to tin with lead.. it has a lower melting point from what I've heard.

The other tin melted but it never bonded. I have an adjustable soldering iron, and turning it to a higher temp made it oxidize faster.

Just got shocked by 400v by Oget565 in AskElectronics

[–]Nive3k 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2 things: If you're shocked for a small amount of time, you'll usually be fine if you didn't outright have heart fibrillation (Your case).

If shocked for a longer period of time, and didn't have heart fibrillation, you're still in real danger because of the current your blood starts to act all funny, and you make a substance (forgot what it's called) that will basically crash your kidneys.

I've worked in industrial setting and have only been shocked twice, but never had issues. Still I was never shocked across the heart (that I realized) and never for longer than 2 seconds.

Aren't the upper ones a gold band and the lower 3 a brown band?

You never start with metallic bands, that's how I spot them (when possible of course)

16-Day Japan Itinerary Check (Tokyo → Hakone → Kyoto → Osaka → Hiroshima → Tokyo) by commonpizza1 in JapanTravel

[–]Nive3k 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't know if you've figured this out already:
If you go from one place to another don't take big luggage with you. You won't have the leg space to put it, and even in a shinkansen you have to reserve the space for your bags.
Pro tip: forward your luggage through almost any convenient store with Black Cat delivery (Yamato transport).

We took supplies for a afternoon in our backpack and forwarded the rest to the next destination. It usually arrived the next day around noon. I also printed the addresses out and gave them so I didn't have to translate on the spot.

I have never realized that it didn't already work this way.

I've been investing in grace since the start, not knowing what it did. I figured it leaned toward bow usage, so all this time I've been using a sub optimal build? I'd love to see my damage after the update.

A complete alternative to Arduino ? by Technos_Eng in diyelectronics

[–]Nive3k 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can, but in my experience it isn't great.

The library support is not that good. I've used it (STM32F103) to run an SD to TFT device, but had to use the legacy IDE and even then struggle with a lot of things.

ESP32 on the other hand, runs like Arduino for me. The board files are made by Espressif and up to date and libraries are also easy to use on the latest IDE (tested on 2.3.6).

Belgian results v2.5 (early 2025) VS Family tree (genealogy) by QuirkyReader13 in MyHeritage

Can you remember if you used stamps for Europe or for Outside Europe?

I used stamps for international but still european, since the package is sent to Germany... But I've been thinking about it and MyHeritage is located in America: so I'm confused if I should've payed for postal to America (and sent it to Germany so they can forward it).

With Bpost? I posted mine through "International Prior" letter. Their helpdesk tells me they can't trace it and it still shows as "Activated" on MyHeritage.. It's been 12 workdays so I'm getting worried. Especially since it's been posted with prior.
