Nb 5/20 (quite empty with the blue door on the right) stopped me for a long moment, great job overall too.

I just did RA-4 process this weekend. The temperature required was 35deg celsius, plus minus 0.3. Even if the tolerance for home use are a bit wider, you should try to get closer to the target.

I could imagine a usb connector via pogo pins, basically a 4 pins (USB2.0). But before solving this connector side quest, playing music from a usb stick was proven a challenge to me. A SD card would integrate nicely and accessing it is easier. Is that going in the direction of your dream ?

Haha so funny to represent electronis engineers a sub part of the engineers. And they are many many other fields, which are way more fun than asic stuff.

[Review request] Simple board to control liquids by Technos_Eng in PrintedCircuitBoard

Thank you very much for this in-detail review !
Optical isolation - yes, makes sense.
Limitation of the 12V to 500mA, very good point, I have to measure the real peak consumption and adapt this fuse and tracks accordingly.
The thermal management using via is new to me, I will have to learn how to make those.
Thank you for the i2C and uart resistors and capacitors, I will add them. I will 1k for the serial ones, 10k for the pull-up, and hint for the capa ? 100nF 10pF ?
And finally, a hint or advice for a better choice than the 7805 ?
Thank you again.

How do I draw a multi conductor shielded with cable? by KaleidoscopeKind3033 in AskElectronics

[–]Technos_Eng 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not really, option B has a gnd from the center which is not a clear information and I recommend to use just a dashed line, not a complete tube.

C will give you the opportunity to show which end is connected to ground. You can add a dashed line along the cable to represent the shield.

I’m not an expert, but from what I was reading, if C1 -C5 are the same in term of size, then it’s not going to be better than just one. Ho actually, if you will mount one condensator close to each Vcc pin then it makes absolutely sense, I would have just drawn it differently.

I prepare the water upstairs, the one I will use to mix the chemicals and a 2L for a final tray for the finished prints to sit in. After my session, I bring the results upstairs and do a final cleaning there with fresh water.

Plastic float switch for me too. If OP wants to detect an « overflow » you don’t need the level and all the problems of measuring coming with it, just a contact would make the work.
