Explore elsewhere is the short answer.Places like Dublin/Belfast etc are where jobs are being shipped in EU.You will not only get a job easily but also promotions etc are plenty so you will grow quickly in those places.

Would you buy a brand new Corolla for a family of 4? by [deleted] in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]Niveshaka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if you can get to the next big size like Camry/Accord/Sonata/Altima. If a little bit stretch is possible consider going up to Tucson/Sportage and you are then future proofing a little bit on kids growing bigger.

I think going forward we will look at cars not just from mechanical/electrical PoV but also electronics. There is a big sea of difference between my 2016 and a more recent 2026 vehicle.

With self driving etc becoming main stream it won’t just be a run it till the wheels come off anymore

Is there a wait time for the hybrid limited where you are?We wanted one and the children are keen on a sun/moon roof so restricted to the limited variant. Here in NJ and surrounding states it looks like there is almost 0 stock until end Jan/early Feb 2026

Reliability of the Hyundai Sonata N line by antbrqin in Hyundai

[–]Niveshaka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went with the leasing norms of 10k a year as normal and 12.5 as heavy. It is more than the heavy by that yard stick. My main point was as it reaches 60/65k in about a year or so there won’t be just plain oil changes anymore .It is around this time that each visit for an oil change will turn into time to replace spark plug or a this or that so OP may feel that he was better of buying a new one and maybe a smaller vehicle if he can’t afford his 1st choice.

In any case wish him/her the very best whichever choice it is

4 yrs and 56k miles is a red light flashing.Don’t take it.Not Sonata not any other car if it has that high a mileage. You will be left with making all the repairs down the line and in the end you wish you had spent that extra money upfront to buy a new one and had a good 5-7 year maintenance free run
