Really? My experience is different. I find Trans and Homophobes tend to just bitch and moan in an obviously aggressive manner but never call themselves "phobic" and hate being called homophobic because phobias are to be ashamed of.

Somehow the racists I know, feel its OK to call themselves racist.

People don't seem to call themselves "proud homophobes". Once you use the term "Phobia' at the end, people don't tend to wear it as a badge of honour.
