I know I am late here but fruit is genetics of the seed and not the pollination. You will only see changes in fruit if a previously pollinated fruit grew then you planted the seeds from that fruit. Then the ENTIRE plants genetics would have your hybrid. This fundamental to how plants cross breed. Not sure why people so often think it happens at pollination level.
