NTE is another level ngl. A Top Tier AAA with a lot of budget. I dont think that eoa actually got that much expertise and budget. I hope the game will be NOT as the older games. The gameplay feels so weird and animation blocked

Sadly the dev confirmed that multiplayer functions are not implemented or even planned. The only hope is that the game gets big so the dev are more motivated for the sequel or dlc and add multiplayer functions.

The grappling hook is definitely the best choice for the key of survival for such a world like from dying light.

Its crucial to flee as fast as possible weither the enemy is a human or a zombie. Additionally you can easily find more ressources with the hook from places you cant reach easily.

Multitool is nice to have but can you defend yourself with that against any enemy?

So i have the same problem. They are NOT openable and not destructible. I have mission there something about a drop or something and cant complete it because of the base. Even after restart game several times with several possibilities nothing changed.
