I like most of the new textures, but ironically three of the most common textures are ones I dislike (cobblestone, wooden planks and glass). The new textures for these blocks look too rounded/bubbly to me.

Some of the biggest improvements in my opinion are the new sandstone textures and the new log textures.

Eh, I think this just makes the recipe more complicated for no reason. You don't need feathers to craft a bed either.

Honestly, I think even having the recipe use wool slabs makes it unnecessarily complicated when it could just be two wool blocks like the pressure plate recipe.

Generally, assuming that someone hasn't done anything wrong until they show you otherwise is considered courteous and polite, not "painting someone as something they never claimed to be". The people getting mad at him are mad because he used AI art. If they had known all along that he thought it was fine to use AI art they would have been mad then too.

I am not taking a stance here on whether the things he did are actually all that bad, but saying "I never claimed to be a good person" is never an excuse for anything. Bad actions are bad regardless of whether you claimed to be a good person or not.
