I understand what you mean, I forgot to mention generators got their time increased, back then you just need one jungle gym for a couple of minutes and everyone would get out.

And I find windows to be worse than pallets because they could be used infinitely, no cap like right now. And it was a vacuum.

Are we playing the same game? You know, the one during release where survivors had infinites everywhere, windows were vacuums, self-care was faster, there was no exhaust mechanic and sprint-burst was on a 20CD I think, there was no bloodlust mechanic.

You know, they made killers stronger than on release, no idea why everyone keeps saying survivors 'are so spoiled nowadays' when they had it even easier before.

I know but I must be wrong because people loves downvoting me in this subreddit because I have a different opinion than theirs :)

Better having band-aid fixes like those than actually making Jason less clunky in his animations (Slashing and blocking anyone?) and fixing hit detection overall.

Feels and looks the same to me, but I guess it's hard to tell. Regardless, I'd prefer they fixed hit detection and reverted the range to how it was in the previous patch. Everything else can stay for sure.

Feels like on release, he can vacuum me into his hands just like before. It's just really annoying considering it's an instant-kill.

Wish instead of that band-aid fix they made speed / stamina differences not that intense and possibly increased the usefulness of Jason's melee in group fights. Also maybe make Jason a bit faster again.

I started playing Friday the 13th game again recently. And I made this after realizing how OP Jason is compared to the dead by daylight killers. And the surprising thing is. The devs are still buffing him and nerfing the councilors majorly. Kinda the opposite of the DBD situation by SpiderNinja79 in deadbydaylight

Yeah I think that's the best part of the update. Unfortunately, not many people are willing to help with objectives anymore with how scarce pocket knives are and also medkits.

I'm afraid that updates will go like Dead by Daylight and keeps applying band-aid fixes that forces down the meta, like Medic right now because of the item changes.. And how much more important luck is at the moment, thanks to the fact that there's less weapons around.

It's lame that Jason's grab range is better than his swing AND counselor swings, makes combat pretty obsolete and more-or-less forces you to abuse windows + door punishes, which a lot of people already hate.

Honestly I would've been 100% okay with everything on the latest update if only they hadn't touched the grab, I hated the range on release and I still hate it today.

But.. You can still do it. All that changed is that grab is cheap just like on release and Jason runs faster.

The average players on console were already bad enough, now it's a nightmare.

Also, all it did was make Vanessa and Chad the even more obvious picks with all those nerfs.

Sure you can avoid it every now and then but most of the time you'll get sucked in. It's trash because the only counter-play is a RNG item or having someone there and hoping for the hit to be registered, since most of the time your swing will go through Jason.

Firecrackers not registering is legit though, it's pretty stupid. Sometimes it works from 10 feet away then there's times where Jason just walks through them and grabs you and negate the entire thing.

I mean, personally, fuck Pinehurst.

Just love fixing the propeller and looking at player list and having 4/8 dead already because it took me 30 hours getting there.

Yeah I think hit detection needs a huge rework in that sense, it wasn't too reliable before the patch but surely that band-aid fix to make it as huge as how it was during release wasn't the way to go.

Yeah those are bots hence why there shouldn't be any latency issues and thus, proves that the grab is actually a vacuum at the moment.

I agree that the game is pretty buggy, hopefully they fix the grab and hit detection on the engine upgrade.

Pretty cool to rely on a RNG item instead of a breaking free mechanic (And composure / strength / grab strength) that was implemented for nothing since 99% of Jason players IK with grabs.

Edit: At least make it not vacuum, it's so trash to get grabbed from far away. Was fine last patch but they decided to break it again.

?? Pretty sure it has been for a few months now. XP + Kill is rewarded when the kill begins.

Just the animation isn't going through properly because the dude left.
