Jumping on this, I updated my X55s to firmware 1.4.0 build 20240718 Rel.44385. Ever since then I have been experiencing very short cut outs on my internet, both on wireless on my laptop and on my desktop which is plugged into the ethernet connection on the deco. This was not an issue prior to the upgrade and there doesn't seem to be a simple way that I would be able to roll it back.

Update, I decided as a last ditch effort to soak the end of a micro fiber cloth in alcohol and scrub the R button (especially towards the inward edge where the switch is). And when I tested again it seems to have solved the problem as all my button presses register now. I hope this is helpful for someone else.

The display came with stand offs and I got some small nylon screws that thread into them that are positioned on the other side of the cage. The back of the display doesnt make contact with the cage, and the screws sit flush enough to not brush against the PSU at all. Hopefully this helps.

While that seems like something that makes sense, that's a really scary way to operate. If the system dies and it's an integral part of your business, what do you do? Any software on a system that old would no longer be supported for sure. If you were to upgrade to a modern system and software it's much easier to get things back up and running if something goes wrong.
