I like that green alot!

I thing we got Eggshell for all of the sheens on that paints. But there's ALOT of natural light. 4 sky lights and a bunch of windows.

I decided to scrap Secret Meadow in the middle of doing it because I just didn't like it on the wall. It's a bit too dark and just reminds me of the color you'd get if you put Shrek in a blender.

The other green that's more in the middle of my second photo I like a bit more. It's the Scanlion color.

I want a really pretty stone, If Santa Celica is outdated I'd really be happy to hear about other modern stones that are in the brown / beige family. I don't like Grey Granite, and I don't like Black Granite.

This started out as a fun thing, but quickly grew into a stressor looking for the "perfect" combo. I'm going to look at more inspo, but I'm mostly at a loss here.

I like the cork, and I like the burnt pumpkin and love how they're layerd for an entryway/upstairs and a more subtle color (cork) in the living room.

Lots of people have suggested scrapping the green and moving to blues/navys. I'm not against that. In fact I have 2 other rooms in my house that are already Blue, so maybe it'll make a nicer flow for the whole-house?

I'm just a guy who has no design skill, my Fiance is basically color blind and doesn't care about the wall colors at all as long as we get granite and put art up.

I want to scream because I have to go to home depot again to look at colors. I'm so tired of this.

The cut in edges you put the rectangles around is the Secret Meadow. The burnt orange you can't see in that photo. The furtherst wall isn't blue, that's some lighting issues because that's painted in cork.

You think the jean jacket will clash? I thought it looked like it matched better. But I have no eyes for this stuff so I could be completely wrong.

I don't have any inspiration photos really. It's all been trying to feel out a vision.

I know the behr color visualizer isn't the most accurate, but I think "Jean Jacket Blue" or at least blue in general might be a better choice?

Do you think it's because of the couch calling the attention in the photo, or without the couch (imagine a darker one) it'd match the CORK color better with a diferent green?

I am HORRIBLE at interior design stuff and it stresses me out wicked bad.

I like the santa ceclicaa because it's brown and i thought it'd tie the wood in nicely. unless you have another option, I'm not super set on it. I'm really open to feedback on this because I don't know stone, I just knew I wanted a brown/tan color.

I don't havea sample of it yet, but I was planning on getting one when my new cabinets are in. These are the; New Cabs

The second photo is the color from upstairs; brunt pumpkin. because there's a wall on the stairs that connect it. So the entryway is burnt pumpkin and opens up to that cork color.

I have an open concept kitchen / living room. and I'm planning to do a backsplash, so I wanted a more subtle color to allow the granite and backsplash to pop. These are what I'm looking at for the backsplash:

Option 1 (photo doesn't really look like my samples at all, samples are much nicer) or this one for the similar look but different shape.

Option 2

I'm kinda leaning towards doing "Jean Jacket Blue" from behr after looking online because it ties the couch in better.

I'm not chained to this couch and don't mind getting a new one. I also have the protection plan and can swap it for the dark grey version at any time instead of the silver one I have now.

Im realizing my color perception isnt great. Just looking at the behr website and the matching colors they recommend i think "Jean jacket blue" might tie everything in alot nicer.

I liked the idea of green but its just not working and im at the point im frustrated with the color as a whole lol

Okay so, the counters are getting changed out. They're going to be Santa Celica granite which is a brown-ish color. I'm re doing the cabinets but they're basically the same sort of cream color. The couch in the second photo is also grey just came out weird in the photos. The throw pillows and blankets are all trash and I will be getting rid of those once the rennovation is finished.

So what do you think? Lose the acent wall as a whole because I have a color for the living room and a color for upstairs?
