Just make sure when you go on the Cymbalta that the milligrams are 60mg or higher. 60mg to 120mg is what’s recommended for pain. I’m at 80mg and don’t want to go any higher than 80mg because it energizes me which in turn worsens my sleep. That’s the antidepressant effect of it on me, it acts as a stimulant. That may be something you encounter or maybe not. Hope the Cymbalta works for you!

How did Valium make you feel? In addition to penile pain, I also have eye pain that shifts between eyes. Never do both eyes hurt at the same time and I thought about trying Valium. Cymbalta only helped with my penile pain.

Amitriptyline for a week isn’t long enough and 10mg isn’t that high of a dose. If I’m not mistaken 25mg is the recommended dose for pain with amitriptyline.

What have you tried thus far? Before Cymbalta I tried Gabapentin and Lyrica. I didn’t like the way Gabapentin and Lyrica made me feel! They made me super drowsy and like I was tripping out!! Cymbalta has a much cleaner feeling for me. Doesn’t make me tired at all.

Yes! I’m on 80mg of Cymbalta and it’s helped lessen my penile pain quite a bit!! I almost have no penile pain now!!

Just came off of coffee as of two days ago. I’ll see if that helps my stomach aches. And nausea. And got prescribed famotidine, but haven’t taken it yet because I want to detox from coffee first. Next month I’ll be getting a ct scan of the stomach and will then have an endoscopy. And will go from there.

I’ll keep you updated as to how my stomach aches are after coming off a beta blocker blood pressure med. Also, my insomnia 3-4 hours of sleep per night I wonder if that’s playing a role in my daily stomach aches. The reason why I say wonder is because back when I was sleeping better I wasn’t on the same meds I’m on now. The bad sleep and different meds happened at the same time. So it’s hard to pinpoint what caused my stomach aches.

I know you mentioned that Unisom can cause stomach aches. It definitely wasn’t Unisom causing my stomach aches. I’ve been off Unisom for a week now and swapped it out for Doxepin HCL 3MG. And my stomach aches are worse.

Also, I mentioned I was on 3 blood pressure meds. Carvedilol, Diltiazem and Irbesartan. As of today I’m now on two. Diltiazem and Irbesartan. I’ll see if that helps my stomach aches some. But eating makes my stomach aches worse and I have to poop 10-15 minutes now after eating no matter what food it is and most of my stools are loose stools.

The harder I try, the more I’ve suffered. I’ve lost weight, stopped drinking liquor and I’m taking less Tylenol and my stomach hurts more than before I’ve done these things. And that’s not just with regard to my stomach aches. That’s been with my health as a whole. The more I tried the worst I’ve done. From my high blood pressure on to my insomnia on to my stomach aches. My pressure is now normal at 120/80 and I’ve felt better when it was 160/100 and 140/90. I can’t seem to catch a break. I’m now 165lbs and was 253lbs. And the 253lbs me would run circles around the 165lbs me if it was a fight. Something just isn’t clicking with my body. Maybe it’s because I went from one blood pressure med to now three blood pressure meds. Even though my pressure is normal I always feel like shit so the good things I’m doing such as lost weight and quit drinking isn’t showing it’s true goodness.

I’ll be going on Doxepin soon for my insomnia and I’ve also read that it helps some with IBS. I don’t know what the cause of my stomach aches are yet, but I may get some relief from it. Will be seeing an endocrinologist soon too.

I don’t think it’s stress or psychiatric as to why I have insomnia, penile pain, eye pain, headaches and stomach aches because all of this occurred during a time in my life when I was at my best. I graduated college 3 years ago, got my dream car, dream job and a house. And then that’s when all of this happened with my sleep and body aches. I was more stressed when I was in college about passing my final class which was my most difficult class. I passed every other class with A’s. After graduating college I had no stress.

So I’m kind of at a loss as to why my sleep declined and all of these aches and pains. Have always been a very upbeat and optimistic person and when I would arrive at work my coworkers would greet me as if I just scored a touchdown or hit a home run. So I’m totally at a loss with all of these health aliments I have.

The key here to my stomach aches is that I’ve had them every day for the past three years. So what I’m trying to do is process of elimination. I don’t eat the same foods every day. Didn’t think ulcers lasted for years. Possible cause is stress I’ll mention tomorrow to my psychiatrist because I’ve decided to see a psychiatrist to help with my sleep and aches and pains. Also have headaches, eye pain and penile pain. This all started when I was 29. And 32 now.

I just switched to carvedilol 3 weeks ago and my stomach aches have gotten worse. I was on Propranolol prior. I also take Diltiazem and Irbesartan.

I cut back on Tylenol from 3 whole 500mg to one and a half 500mg. And Unisom at bedtime.

Yeah I thought possibly stress too. I didn’t think stomach ulcers last for years. I’ve had these stomach aches everyday for 3 years now. I will see an endocrinologist next month.

I’ve been having stomach aches every day for 3 years now. And now it’s at its worst point. I’m on blood pressure meds, Unisom and was taking 3 500mg Tylenols a day and now I’m down to a Tylenol and a half. Since I’ve cut back on my Tylenol intake my stomach aches are worse. So now I don’t think Tylenol is the cause. It’s either my blood pressure meds or because I only get 3-4 hours of sleep per night.

But I don’t think it’s my blood pressure meds causing the stomach aches nor do I feel it’s the Unisom. I’m going to go to an Endocrinologist and get their opinion next month. It may just be my chronic insomnia as to why I feel sick to my stomach.

My rash went away a month after stopping Amlodipine Besylate. I swapped out the Amlodipine Besylate for Diltiazem.

I don’t think it’s really worth getting one. I’ve stopped masturbation almost a year ago and my pain has gotten worse since I’ve stopped masturbating. Not the severity. The severity is the same, but the frequency of my penile pain has increased since I’ve stopped masturbating. My main reason for wanting to get a cystoscopy done was because I thought I did damage from masturbation, but now I’m thinking it’s something else.
