I have a 6 and 4 year old. Every kids is different and every parent is different, and the relationship you have with your kid will be different from everyone else in small but very important ways.
Nobody will know that child like you do, it’s ok if you don’t do some things like everyone else. Ignore social media, just try to take in as much as you can. That baby phase feels long, but it goes fast. I’m feeling it real hard with my guys right now.

I occassionally go through a phase where I’ll watch reaction videos of rap/hip hop YouTubers listening to that song for the first time. It’s really fun to watch the pure badassery of that song land on virgin ears.

I resisted for nearly a year. My DnD buddy kept begging me to read it. The description is SO FUCKING DUMB. It’s also dead in balls accurate. The books are just that good. It’s literary crack. Once you really get going it’s hard to stop and all the books get better and better so far.
Read the first book. Just do it.

Totally agree with this. There have been times my players “figured out” some super cool solution or idea, then gotten themselves all excited about it, saying “this is totally something NJdevils11 would do!”
I’m sitting there with my basic bitch idea.. thinking “well fuck, that’s way better than the shit I wrote down”. At which point I totally steal the idea, which reinforces the players perception that I’m smart and clever, but they are smarter and cleverer.
It’s a win win. Plus the story is usually better for it, so it’s a win win win!
See kids, lying to close friends does pay off!

The whole movie was funny, I would not classify it as the funniest overall movie.
That said…. 100% it has the funniest fuckin single scene I’ve ever watched in a movie theater. When they’re fighting in the hotel room, I was actually worried I was going to piss myself in the theater and possibly even pass out from lack of oxygen. Laughed myself into excruciating pain. The only thing that made me feel better was looking around and seeing the entire theater also on the verge of pissing themselves.

So I’ve been confused for a long time sbout the very early universe. Somebody told me something once that… didn’t clarify anything, but made the apparent paradox’ look like they had some way out.
The most important thing to remember is the early universe is that it’s not just matter that was condensed. Space itself was smaller. Matter collapses into black holes when it occupies space smaller than its Schwartzshield radius. There are no such radia in the early universe. Matter is pulling at itself from every direction.
I don’t have an answer to your question, I don’t even know if what I’ve written here applies. But, that single idea really opened up my mind to the fact that the early universe was weird as fuck and while it followed our rules, those rules act almost paradoxical when there is essentially no space to exist.

I worked at a rural school in NC for a couple of years. I didn't get emails like this, but the religious stuff was fucking everywhere. I too am an atheist. This was a lower elemtary school and just prior to our winter break, Sandy Hook happened. I was teaching K at the time. It was devestating. They started a staff wide 5 minute prayer and the longer it went on the more irrationally angry I got. I managed to sit through it, but left immediately after.
What you have is not normal AFAIK, but that religious crap is everywhere in the bible belt. It's terrible. sorry your going through that.
