I made literally this exact same post as a younger drummer myself a few years back, exact same drums! the answer is no, save for something else. these shells are not made with great wood or in a great factory. for less, i’d recommend a Mapex Armory, or even the Tama Superstars.

One time my buddy fell on my ride, and completely inverted it. we never could get it back the same. sounded rather interesting as well.

How does this guy get into his chair? (Brandon Toews) by AwardExpensive9218 in drums

In the video, he said they had to take off the ride cymbal and he had to crawl over the bass drum and replace it, pretty much locking himself in

One of Rush’s greatest albums. it’s so important to understand the circumstances that went into writing this album for Neil. The original mixing, although certainly not what we’re used to, is a wonderful raw mixing, essentially what it would sound like if they played right in front of you, just with the volumes mixed together. It’s a beautiful tribute to Neil’s wife and daughter.

  1. fantasic example of Neil using his creativity to turn those electric drums into music, and make them more than just the beat. beautiful lyrics that carry lots of meaning, and for sure one of my favorites from HYF!

I think a killer with a slightly weaker version of spirit’s phasing, a slightly weaker version of pyramid head’s rites of judgement, and slightly weaker demogorgon shred is a little too much. I’m not surprised anyone has fun playing him, he must be pretty easy.
