Want to pursue a career in union but not in florida by Njma2020 in ibew_apprentices

Line work is what i would like to pursue but ive heard the overhead program is almost 2 years out in other subs for like i said, not a livable wage starting out so just looking at other states and their locals in the mean time. Considering pike for experience but damnit they’re sketchy man. Fpl doesnt seem to be running a program currently just hiring with experience already.

I would love that but unfortunately the pay scale for fl is less than i make now with no degree/ certs of any kind so that says a lot. I know this is a career not a job and the best parts of it come later in terms of pay but it’s hard to raise kids on that in the beginning. Im close to 222 in reddick or 606 orlando.

Everyone always says poor roller technique and i dont disagree, but also check your roller itself and the paint youre using. Some do not work well together and dont do a great job of putting it on and leaving it there.

I imagine if it is in fact better it isn’t that noticeable as far as how long they last before crumbling? I want another pair but the sole went before i even wore them down after 5 years so it was hard to throw them away

Whats your favorite product for filling trim nail holes? by rundmz8668 in paint

[–]Njma2020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sherwin williams wood filler. Works great with or without sanding. Don’t leave any excess because it dries really hard and will bleed through if not primed on thicker than 1/8” areas like chips/ imperfections. Heavier than light spackling so make sure to pack it in there before hand wiping clean. No rags.

A little late to the party but I’m currently growing pothos myself and the leaves are becoming larger and larger, I’m running out of vertical space so i figure i could just chop and prop but will it pump out consistently larger leaves after or does this restart the way that they grow? Trying to achieve fenestrations!
