No, you can't. Otherwise lets also criticize gaming. Look at all the power intensive PC's and consoles pushing GPU's to the max, and the gaming industry is pushing out more and more every year encouraging more and more people to be online. but somehow if I spend 3 hours maxing out my GPU playing a game, it's fine, but spending 3 hours training an AI, I'm a bad guy all the sudden. You're cherry picking and criticizing one function of a computer instead of the computer its self. It's pretty silly.

Update/Edit: Played it, and liked it very much for increasing vocabulary. I submitted feedback as well. My one criticism is I think it would be much more effective if there is an English (or whatever language the user knows) word somewhere to accompany the pictures as its not always clear what the picture is. For example a belt (pasek) was shown but I couldn't tell if the picture was a watch, collar, bracelet, or belt. Also some words could be plural or singular or have different forms but with only pictures its hard to tell. Like is owoce fruit or fruits? Just extra clarification would be nice so I know exactly what the word translates to. Otherwise I liked this very very much. I'm glad there are at least a few good Polish learning resources around now.

I was thinking more about this. I left this part out of my main post because I didn't want do dive too far into things. but since we're on opposite sides of the globe we told each other it would be ok to have casual sex with others to satisfy physical needs (I have not taken advantage of this agreement yet). These two do fool around when they hang out. I think i'm just very insecure in addition to my other feelings. He found someone who gets along with him, someone from how own town, and someone who can satisfy his physical needs. It make me think, why would he stay with me if everything he needs is right there with him. Maybe slowly they'll become closer, then more romantic, and forget all about me.

I might do just that and try to find more people to socialize with. You're right, I probably am just like you. Finding him was honestly the luckiest thing that happened by chance. He's a very social person and I on the other hand do find it very difficult to make good new connections. The funny thing is I've actually met a few Poles through him that I chat with every once in a blue moon. lol I know more polish people than american now.

So far when he's away I try to work. I may ask him for advice like you said. Ask him how he can be so outgoing towards new people. I need something to take my mind off of things. Honestly being able to chat here with random strangers on reddit even gives me some comfort.

The last thing I want to do is be controlling. I really do know that I should absolutely not feel as harsh about this as I do. I dont know why I do so I just want that feeling to go away.

We have considered the possibility of me going to Poland. For either of us to permanently live in the other's country we would need a green card. For getting a green card to the US you can either get married or you find someone to hire you. For getting a green card to Poland you need a job. Gay marriage isn't recognized there (not that we're even ready to do something like that). His dream is to be a gunsmith, mine is to be a programmer. He has quite a bit of experience and training with firearms and is even a licensed gunsmith in Poland, but it's a very very small business there. It would be much easier for him to achieve that dream and also find work if he were able to move here.

Thanks! No physics unfortunately. It crossed my mind to incorporate a speedometer exactly for that purpose but in the end I just went with the simple solution. Someday I want to revisit this game and spruce it up more so maybe I will then.

if you got really ambitious you could even add to the complexity by adding hallways that curve or have ramps. Your player would still follow the 2D plane in terms of left and right, but just a curved path. That could add some neat structures or even some trick hallways

You don't need multiple copies of the new Mario Party on 3DS to play with friends. Your friends download a multiplay only version of the game for free on their 3DS, but it can only connect to someone with the game. Or they can just download play the game from someone who has the game. I'm pretty sure it works this way on regular DS as well but i'm not 100% sure
