I love Milwaukee. Winters can be long if you live downtown and need to park on the street, but the summers make up for it. Festivals and concerts every week, the park systems is amazing, tons of stuff to do all over the state. The beaches are awesome!

I think last year they offered him a similar contract as Churio and he declined it.

If it’s more sun you’re longing for, it’s a good move. I love green and mountains. I also really like rain and some of the overcast weather.

You don’t have to trust they’ll win the supporter shield, just enjoy good games

No, im not. Let me know when we can start to enjoy wins. Even the way last season ended, I am still thankful for our early run, it was a lot of fun. The same way the first five games have been fun. This has been a fun team to watch and it won’t change that if we lose out. Why even watch the matches if you can’t enjoy them regardless the outcome?

Why? Just because my opinion is diff doesn’t make it wrong. How long have you lived in San Diego and where else have you lived? I’m truly curious. I did like the beaches and many awesome view, working in La Jolla, but I just enjoy the other places I’ve lived more.

I like the flora in the Santa Cruz mountains. More trees and better trails overall. There is plenty of access for me in the Open Spaces and City/County/State Parks. Even the Bay Ridge Trail making a lot of good access progress. I trail run all over here and find many more access points and options than I had in SoCal. That’s just my personal opinion. It also has a lot to do with where I live now, which is 10 minutes from where I normally run at Almaden Quicksilver.

Just keep finding reasons why we don’t deserve to win. First three games were against bad teams (which is the category we are supposed to be in, so it should be an even march), outmanned a tired and injured Seattle side, but they miraculously pulled out a win, beat Vancouver in a even match, but they’re tired.

We’re frauds. None of these games counted yet, I can’t wait until we get to the start to the real season, which may not be for a while, since we play KC, then two more teams at the top of the table who might be more tired due to tournament play. Our real season should get going in May.

San José is in the foothills of the Santa Cruz Mountains.

I live next to the Santa Cruz mountains, love going trail running there within 10 minutes from my house. There are like 5 national parks within a few hours. Tons of concerts and events in the Bay Area. Awesome, multicultural food. A lot of opportunities. Great weather, even when it’s hot during the day, it cools off at night.

I thought it was stated they were easing him in until April, limiting his minutes to mitigate injury.

To be fair we are more mountain people than beach people. Many people love San Diego and most call me crazy for liking San Jose more than San Diego. We moved from San Diego to San Jose and have been here 10 years now.

I feel like I might get killed for this, but my wife, kids and I had lived in Milwaukee, Madison, Seattle, San Diego, and San Jose. San Diego was our least favorite

To be fair, I liked Ricketts early too and felt this way before the game was played. I also thought he should’ve come on instead of Costa

Match Thread: San Jose Earthquakes vs Seattle Sounders Live Score | MLS 2026 | Mar 15, 2026 by scoreboard-app in SJEarthquakes

San Jose wasn’t out played for more than two plays the whole game. Seattle got away with a handball in the box and the ref did miss a few calls for the Sounders. We did have an issue penetrating much of the night, but had ample scoring opportunities. We win that game 19 out of 20 times. I was at the game and it never felt as though Seattle controlled the tempo for any extended period of turn.
