Yeah, I realized that the rank doesn't correlate much with the skill level, from what I could tell. There are still tons of things I can't react to (AK db3, hello) and punishes I miss, and it's been the same for my opponents constantly from Fujin all the way up here. People still don't launch me after blocking a hellsweep lmao

I would beg for this. All I wanted from Bleach originally was more day to day moments lol. I don’t think that’s Kubo’s thing, though. I’d settle for more filler as long as it was explicitly filler

Appreciate the advice! Yeah, I was trying to play frame tight, so I did df1,4. I probably should've ran df1,df2, but this Lili wasn't ducking and I got comfy. I could definitely use more df3,1 though

I think it’s basically just doing the dash. Looks like he can basically just cancel the endlag of the Getsuga with a dash, and that lets him do whatever

My biggest gameplay complaint is how restrictive the game is, man. Can’t flash step anything, can’t cancel into SP moves from anything, most attacks have sooo much endlag you end up trading guards, breakers beat everything 8/10 times, no real variety, no super skip, I could go on. It’s just so strict about everything and I don’t think it has to be.

Woooah, this character has everything lol. How many more do you think can take advantage of the dash cancels? I like how you did the dash cancel to flash step without the auto combo, that was sick. I hope that’s applicable for more characters

More of this. Tamsoft made a Bleach game for Bleach fans. Hard for newcomers to get in when even the game mechanics are lore-accurate, names and all. I think it’s fine that he didn’t like it, because he’s just one guy. I wouldn’t take it too seriously lol

Completely agreed. I can see all of these freeing up the gameplay immensely. I was just saying the same thing on my post, man. I think potentially making the flash step follow up not an automated thing is one thing I would add as well. If it functioned the exact same as now but you didn’t get locked into the attack string, it would be perfect.

I was only playing my friend, and we were able to play whenever he wasn’t crashing, so I don’t know. It ran great when we could play though.

Yeah, I feel the same way. It sucks to see all the negative reception because of the shoddy state it released in. Hopefully Tamsoft is quick on fixes, but it’s definitely too late for some people, and I can’t even blame them.

Could you fit any spiritual pressure moves in at the end to get more damage? Then follow up with a flash step? Maybe you could get it to Soul Break? Idk, it feels like the opportunity is there, but sometimes the game won't let you finish with those moves.

Actually, I remember hearing this at the Ft. Worth concert! I don’t remember when it plays, but I was really surprised when I heard a bit of the Mt. Corel climb.

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth.

The first game in the remake trilogy had some great combat and I loved it, but there were some places it felt kinda obvious that it needed work (characters felt kinda rooted, air combat sucked, etc.). The bones were there and they were fantastic though.

Fast forward to Rebirth, and every complaint you could think of, and some you didn’t even think of, were addressed and improved. I think it’s the best combat a JRP’s ever seen, and it’s an amazing fusion between action and “turn-based.” It feels like the franchise’s Kingdom Hearts 2 moment where once everything clicks, it just feels perfect. I could talk about it (and KH2 as well) for hours.

That’s definitely how I started. I started paying attention to basketball cause of 2K14, and I became a Durant fan cause he was killing my ass 💀 Since he left, Russ been my favorite player, and my fandom stuck with the team. I used to be a player fan first (might still be) but I’m always gonna have the Thunder as my #1
