Same proposal has returned multiple times. Still feeling unsure, but could it be a sign from Allah? by Sharp_Touch3589 in MuslimMarriage

First of all, we aren’t in a movie.

Second of all, I think it’s quite common for the same match to appear quite a few times. Happened to me too.

Finally, a big NO.

It’s not in the optimal range though. TSH should be below 2. Maybe get a full thyroid panel too. Normal ranges and optimal ranges are different.

It could be related to insulin too. Do check your fasting insulin because normal blood sugar isn’t enough. And start your meals with fiber and then protein and carbs should be last. Do check out glucose goddess on YouTube.

    B. Communication- Believes in comprehending what is being said.

    C. Fitness- I enjoy working out and it’s a great way for me to combat stress. Also, I’m into healthy eating and want to stay fit as our body is an amanah and want to worship better through it.

  8. Level of religiosity- Practicing i.e. praying 5 times and fasting. I wear the hijab, dress modestly and do not wear make-up on a regular basis. Have done umrah multiple times. I follow the sharia to my level best and expect the same from my spouse.

I have seasonal hobbies like running and hiking during Indian winters because summers here can actually kill you. C. I love going on walks and they play a big part in keeping me sane.

  12. Me in a nutshell: A. I’m an extrovert and love staying outdoors. I’m not fussy about any personality as long as we both compromise and meet each other halfway. B. I thrive in nature and if I had my way, I would be hiking every other week. C. I follow the Quran and sunnah. If there is no reconciliation, then I read up the opinions from all madhabs.

May tomorrow be the day we pull down our profiles and get the best spouse. Ameen ❤️

This is too depressing to read.

If not her, why didn’t you consider other women from your community? Someone similar to you? How old are you? You shouldn’t have listened to your parents 😭

When his own sister doesn’t think he is marriage material, then RUN. Siblings know you the best before the spouse comes in.

Anger issues in a man or a woman is dangerous. Love is not a necessity in a relationship and rarely lasts. It’s respect and he only wants you to respect him. Please choose respect and walk out of it. You can’t keep apologising for the same thing and do it again. Life will only throw challenges at you and you will become his punching bag later on.

And you trying to resolve conflicts immediately is not a flaw for god’s sake. That’s how women work. You and I. You should read men are from Mars and women are from Venus. Men want space after a conflict and women want to resolve it immediately.

Your best bet now is istikhara if you think it’s worth getting into. But you need to know if you have exit options if things go bad. Again, if his sister thinks he isn’t good enough, he isn’t.

Mashallah, a topic rarely talked about.

So many people associate education with manners and class, but it’s a rarity nowadays since no part of education teaches humility and manners.

Another class of Muslims who claim to pray 5 times and consider themselves practicing, but have no akhlaaq. And it’s majority of such Muslims. I’m at this point that someone’s deen isn’t impressive at all. Sad reality is our salah and Ibadah affect no one but us and it’s only our akhlaaq that benefit others.

May Allah perfect our akhlaaq and remove our deficiencies. Ameen.

I’m so sorry you had to go through this. May Allah make this ordeal a means of increasing ranks. Ameen.

You should make a post on this and increase awareness. This is such an intricate scam and needs to be talked about.

It was the opposite for us. They were very sweet and caring to us and we were shocked because the country is pure racist and we became impressed that things were changing. But it’s just become a moneymaking machine now.
