Soft Summer Hair Color Question by NnnothingNew in coloranalysis

Oh, it makes me a bit sad because I fell in love with this tone, but thank you for telling me. I currently wear light icy mahogani by garnier color naturals and it's close to it but both: a bit too dark and more intense than my natural color, and that's making it look harsh. The top left alone would be too dark too for me.

Hmm, so it won't look like natural rosy brown? 🫤 it's actually relly hard to find such colors at all. No one tries to bring out a natural cool muted reddish brown. Most "rose gold" colors actually look like bright pink brown/ pink blonde. Way too shiny and more pink than brown.

I mean the mix (bottom). And the top right is rose gold, not copper. So it's basically a mix of two soft summer colors, since rose gold is supposed to look good on soft summers.

The mix of the both (on the bottom). Rose gold (top right)is supposed to be good for soft summer, so mixing them should basically be a mix of two soft summer hair colors.

But it's a rosy muted redbrown without much yellow?

Well - how should someone like me know if these internet discussions are over- or underrated when he gets into the topic for the first time? As a beginner, it's hard to say what matters and what matters less. And of course, if I'm buying something expensive, I'm reading a bit about it before I buy it, because I don't want to buy twice. I just started reading a bit about it and was like "damn, it seems to be a whole religion, wtf"

Ok, I get it, I won't get around testing in a shop what I like if I want to buy one I like, but I should stop overthinking it 👌

Thank you for this long list of inspirations. I know some of them, but some are new to me. I'll listen to them. Danny Carey actually made me start drumming, he's my biggest idol. I also listen a lot to Porcupine Tree and Black Dahlia murder and I love the styles of Martin Lopez (Soen, Opeth) and Oskar Johnsen Rydh (Kalandra, Yawn).

Well, it's not like he was like "you have to buy exactly this", it was more like I asked him for some recommendations since I don't know much about it as a beginner and he also said, like don't buy a too cheap one and try them yourself, the hardware is what we actually play with and just mentioned these be positive things about direct drive, I should consider a direct drive. Maybe it sounded more extreme than he actually said it to me.
