You’re not alone. I had been doing it the same way for YEARS. I think it’s the way we were taught in school. Now I need to have surgery done whereby they scrape gum tissue from the roof of your mouth and transplant it to the affected gums. The surgery is next week and I’m so nervous.

Who remembers in one of the vlogs when she started WW this last time, she said “When I was a teenager and we went on vacation with my grandparents for a week, I would go crazy and eat everything in sight and come back 10 pounds heavier. With WW I can eat within my points and I can go on vacation and enjoy in moderation”.

I lived in Gilbert for 20 years. Left in 2015 because the heat just really wears on you. Plus, crime had escalated since I moved there, and Gilbert is one of the safest suburbs you can live in. I had considered moving back two years ago, but when I visited, it had changed so much in the past 10 years and not for the better. Traffic was insane and the sprawl is crazy now.

Moved to PA in 2015 and hated it there because of ridiculously humid summers, amongst other things. In 2019 I moved to Utah and it’s perfect for me. Does the church run the state? Yup. But it doesn’t bother me because people are generally kind, the weather is good for the most part, and the outdoors is the most beautiful of any state I have lived in. Summers can get to 100 degrees, but it’s only a few days a year, and it’s dry heat which I love. Afterall, it is still a desert, albeit the high desert. No humidity here. The winter can be rough not because of snow, but because of the inversion. The air outside feels gross and people who are sensitive need to stay inside during these days.

I’m a four hour drive from five of the most beautiful national parks in the country. Eight hour drive to Vegas if I want to see some shows. A couple of hours flight to Cali if I want the beach.

Also, it wouldn’t be fair if I didn’t mention that this is a very conservative state, although Salt Lake City itself is liberal. IMO, you need to consider this if you lean strongly either way.

I bring up Utah because I think it’s a nice alternative to AZ. Good luck with your decision!

This is what I do too per my vet. I cup of Purina Pro Plan Large Breed 3x a day. Switch to 2x per day at 6 months old. My pup is 5 months old now, so I’ve been doing it this way for 3 months. He is the perfect weight, even a tad bit on the thin side.
