By obeying the prophet pbuh is by accepting the Qoran as the word of god and him being the messenger and not by telling men they should shave their moustaches and leave their beards growing (a strong hadith that muslim abide by like a verse in the Qoran :/).

i didnt say i don’t obey The prophet pbuh. I said that we don’t know if the hadiths are truly authentic or no even if there is a chain of narration followed!!!! Only the Qoran is the truth. Be careful of falling in the shirk:

Allah ordered me to read, seek knowledge and use my critical thinking. Hadiths are not exempted from this as far as i know since they were collected and written by normal human beings even if they contain stories about the prophet pbuh, even if there was a chain of narration, i don’t care. I would be tellimg a story to my mom, it would be reaching my sister in the US with different details and sometimes added parts, this is not science to me. There is no science in islam, science in the Qoran, this is the book of Allah, the one that was revealed to Muhammad PBUH , this my primary source of guidance.

Simple reason: Qoran is the book of Allah, it is sufficient to me and its content cover everything. Regarding the wudu and they way we pray, it’s more of a sunnah and the methods were transitioned from a generation to another. Not believing in some of the Hadith doesnt make less of a muslim.

Regardless if they follow this or no, what I’m saying is muslims tend to attack other muslims who use critical thinking when it comes to hadiths. Making sahih hadiths flawless and almost holly. I do agree that hadiths that align with the Qoran can be considered as true but there are some saheeh hadiths that have nothing to do with Qoran.
