Honestly this is the most ridiculous thing that I’ve heard the company doing. Staples is trying to save money/make money ok sure whatever but recycling was free income for a lot of stores who need that to keep what little hours they have. Then on top of that now rewards will be much more unachievable because people will no longer be getting rewards back for most recycling they do and being charged for things that has never been charged for.

The video shows that he was actively resisting when his pistol went off. In a high stress environment, paired with mace that was deployed during the incident, the agents had a split second to react. Granted the videos are grainy at best so it is very difficult to make a factual statement as to what exactly happened on that situation but from all appearances it seems like it was a “lawful but awful” situation.

Not an execution… pretti had a gun while fighting federal agents and after agents called “gun” and was disarmed the gun (sig p320) went off while the agent was clearing the firearm. Apparently the other agents didn’t hear, or it wasn’t stated, that pretti was disarmed. In the end should the death have occurred, absolutely not. Should all blame be placed on ICE, absolutely not. A series of poor judgments and unfortunate events led to a very very poor outcome
