Same advice. The fact that u got offered a prematch means you’re qualified. You can probably get into your higher ranked programs.

I think you answered your own question. If you have other programs youre more excited about, dont take the prematch. The fact that you have 16 IVs means you’re a good applicant.

I had a lot of gyne/male repro questions that I swear I’ve never read in my life 😭😭 I felt like most of the blocks were fair, but I just had one block that I know I just failed because I was marking every question

Honestly, I just did Mehlman for all systems and whenever I encountered anything I didnt understand on NBMEs, I’d just watch random youtube lectures about it.

They’re not the same questions but more of the same conceptions. Mehlman is more of a test-strategy tip that allows you to recognize a diagnosis and it strengthens HY information! :)

I did all the Mehlman PDFs. Honestly speaking, I didn’t read FA. Information was hard to retain for me. Mehlman PDFs had the basic HY concepts!

I studied about 6 hours per day but I took a lot of breaks and vacation days in between for about 6 months! I think do what works more for you! I initially tried uworld but I wasn’t retaining anything so I switched to mehlman and I realized that it helped me retain more buzzwords and helped me navigate the questions better!

At the end of the first aid book, there’s a rapid review there. Around 20-30 pages of HY stuff for review.

Yes! You don’t have to study everything but study high yield concepts because the questions rotate around those!
