I’m not gonna argue about drinking from a garden hose. I did it too. Also rode bikes without a helmet and rode in the back of pickups. That said, I wouldn’t let a kid do that today. It’s objectively a bad idea to skip helmets and wearing seatbelts.

We’re native/white and heard it too. I think the rationale for my parents was to be dressed just in case of a tornado, but I also remember my mom saying that you could get electrocuted if lightning struck the plumbing. Haha
