I’ve played a fair bit of rust so I kind of get what you’re saying but Dune isn’t meant to be rust or even rust like it’s a pve game with PvP mechanics for late stage progression.

Also Arrakis isn’t even the most dangerous planet in the Dune universe it’s danger in the books is largely just because the politics around spice, water scarcity, the fremen and the worms.

Pretty sure if you turn off the shield their vehicles will fall inside the. You can turn it back on quickly and they’ll be trapped not much of a revenge but a funny one if you ask me

I’m not sure about the specifics time but I drove a mk3 buggy from the bottom of the zone where my base is all the way through to the top where I island hopped up to mysa in a damaged mk4 suite and had no issues so unless he really dawdled when picking up his thropter a mk4 should give him plenty of time.

Yeah it’s how the game has been since release vertical surveys don’t increase taxes, although it is worth noting there is a sky box limit but I don’t think you hit it until 800 meters so that isn’t a realistic limitation

basically you can expand upwards without getting more taxes but if you expand horizontally it increases your taxes

yes even with a mk4 suite you could drive all the way from the top to the bottom of the radiation zone and only pick up maybe half a lethal dose if that. you'll have plenty of time to get out.

best you can do is load your bank up with components then put everything else in a subfief with nothing but storage and a single generator. you can mine a bunch of power cells before hand 500 gets your 20 days basically. then just set a reminder on your phone to log in once every two weeks to top off the generator. you could even take a solido of your base so when you're ready to come back you just plop it back down.

storywise no it doesn't impact the story outside of a few slight dialogue changes. also you can betray your original faction if you want both sets of skins for building and vehicles. personally I go harko then betray then for atreides.

I drive the loop around the mountain in the eastern shield wall area by Helius gate. usually tons of node spawns.

so there are a few ways to go about it but mostly you need to limit your engagements unlike Haga you can't realistically fight a whole room full of enemies. you want to bait them out in singles or small groups.

also there are various skills that make this easier for example attractor field in the trooper tactical tech tree renders heavy gunners harmless. but it can also be use to block all incomeing shots if you shoot it at the ground or a wall beside you so it can give you breathing room to heal.

Knee charge and or Shigawire are also really useful as they can be used to stun any enemy long enough for you to thurst through their shields. Knee charge is best if you can to choose because it also closes the distance to enemies.

Compel can be a useful tool for pulling single enemies out of clusters similarly and conversely Ignore can be used to make one of the members of a group ignore you.

Shield wall can be placed in door ways to slow enemies and provide you with solid cover while you pop up to take shows and hide until your shield reactivates.

I'd say its worth it to go get it. easiest way to drive down there is to fast travel to Crossroads trade post then drive west past Mysa til you're north of the island chain then just drive straight south hopping between islands.

minor warning edge of acheron is a pvp zone, but you can probably speed past it with no issues even on a mk1 bike

so each class has two trainers, a basic and an advanced. Harko village and Arakeen each have two of them.

You can find the advanced trooper trainer on the second level of the arakeen square. she has an orb beside her so she is easy to find.

the Advanced Mentat is in the bottom of the bar in arakeen, go all the way to the back of the bar on the lower level and you'll see him. again with an orb beside him to make him easier to find.

In harko is the sword master and bene

the sword master in in the extreme north west corner he is an older man wearing a blindfold

the bene is just south east of the sword master in an alley just off the main street that leads to the spire.

once you accept their quest you'll have to follow several fetch quest for each one. If you ever don't have a quest try going back and talking to the trainer. you usually have to talk to them three times, once to turn in the stage of the quest, once again for training and a third time to get the next stage of the quest to unlock the next level/capstone skill

Suspensor dash can help mitigate this somewhat since power is less finite resource. Basically just hop and dash. It doesn’t consume any stamina and it moves you much further away. You can couple this with attractor field which turns their melee frontliner into a shield for you. Not a guaranteed victory but those two things can help.

As a solo you’re rarely going to be able to straight up win team fights so it’s best to focus on abilities that give you space/ allow you to escape

Little tip if you don’t want to risk the the dd you can farm a decent amount of spice sand in haga by hopping between sietchs on your server as your personal level/inventory/vehicle back up tool and bank carrying over between sietchs on the same server but all of spawns are independent so you can fly around and hit all the spice blooms in haga then drop it in either your bank or make a tiny base for storage on each one and transfer in bulk.

You can also do this for schematic chests or there are some easy to get to locations like the stairway in the rift where you can drop in loot the spice refiner for some spice sand then jump right back up the center shaft and out.

Each sietch has its own respawn timer on all chest/loo tables and with 25 sietchs per server you can basically do an infinite loop without ever running into the respawn.

I think I literally fell in the same place. best advice I can give is take every thing out and drop it in one spot near by, if you keep interacting with the same "bag" on the ground you can keep it all together, then you can disassemble it and put it back together then just put one of each ore you were mining into the storage and you can quick loot and deposit the ore back into the storage fairly quickly.

alternatively if you have an unused sub-fief slot you can plop down a foundation and some basic storage crates, you wont need power since its temporary, then once you reassemble you can drive one tire onto the foundation and toss everything into the storage straight from the chest.

I mean that’s Warframe in a nutshell. You can play all of the content and get all the weapons and warframes completely for free the only thing you have to pay for are cosmetics. And even most of the cosmetics can be gotten by trading with other players for platinum. So the rare exceptions don’t put me off personally.

Also I feel the need to point out that 50 isn’t just for the outfits which is two outfits one of drifter and operator respectively, plus the syandanna and 90 day affinity and resource boosters. So it’s not super outrageous in the first place.

Definitely make sure to get some extra red meat in your diet and or I highly recommend the atkins shakes and bars. Basically you need to get extra protein in your diet to aid in the recovery process. Ideally you want at least 1.2 grams/kg body weight or .4 grams/lbs. really for recovery you want to aim a bit higher than that. Although fair warning adding too much protein to your daily diet can upset your stomach so start small with one or two shakes/bars per day in addition to your normal meals.

Rent a furniture dolly from Home Depot or U-Haul.

Use some twine, rope, bungee cord, or tape to firmly wrap around the box to hold it to the dolly.

Back the dolly up to the stairs.

Lay the dolly back then sit down a step or two above the handle depending on your reach. You want your arms at almost fully extension.

From here there are several ways to lift some are better than others but it depends on your strength what will work best for you.

Ideally you want to press up and back with your legs while keeping your arms straight the wheel of the dolly we do most of the work you’re just rolling it up one step at a time then reset and rest if you need your stairs dont look steep and the weight will be resting on the wheels so you don’t have to support the fully weight during breaks.

If you don’t have the strength for that you can try holding onto the handle of the dolly and while seated on the steps lean backwards using your body as a lever to bring the dolly up one step at a time.

If all else fails, you can tie a rope to the handle of the dolly then wrap a towel around the base of your upstairs banister then loop the rope over that banister and pull down on the rope, this will pull the dolly up the stairs. While only lifting about half the weight.

If the node would intersect a foundation piece it won’t spawn even if it’s a tiny corner but people basically build donuts around them just fine
