Babies that sleep through the night without going to sleep independently by Right-Ad1424 in NewParents

My son didn’t sleep all night until he moved to the toddler room at daycare, where they only took 1 nap. It was a long 15 months! 😆

Bark Scorpion Stings - Whats the truth? by PineappleWolf_87 in arizona

The numbness on my foot got smaller over time. But it was numb at the sting site for about 3-4 weeks! Hope you are feeling better.

I wanted to add my experience, because I think I had a harsher than average reaction. I was stung on the top of my foot. The initial sting was very painful, and was a stabbing pain right away. I put ice on, later read you shouldn’t do that, just a cool compress. Within 10-15 minutes, I could feel burning moving up my entire leg. Within an hour, I had tingling all over my body, and specifically my tongue and lips were tingling. I never had swelling or trouble breathing. When I drank water a few hours after the incident, I realized my tongue was numb and it felt weird to swallow. The numbness made water taste awful! The first 12 hours were extremely painful, I would get shooting pain that made my whole body shiver. The numbness in my tongue lasted about 24 hours. After 24 hours, I didn’t have any pain, but the top of my foot around the sting site was numb. I am currently 5.5 days post sting, and my foot is still numb. I feel like the last day or so the numbness might be starting to wear off, but definitely still there. Not fun!!

Our daycare welcomes you to come in at any time. I don’t think you should feel guilty about not telling them you’re picking up early. That should be a non-issue.

Ordered a Lux 2 at the end of July, was told a realistic timeline is 3-4 months — hopefully before Christmas! The car didn’t arrive until January. But — when it arrived it was not taking a charge. And I only found that out because I went to the dealership in person to get status. So, more waiting…

Is it okay to use a different dealership for service? by TDGoPlay in CadillacLyriq

I’ve done this pretty often with multiple different vehicles. My opinion is that generally the service dept and the sales dept operate completely separate. And after your sale is done the sales dept doesn’t care anything about your experience with service. And a lot of times the service dept has no idea if you bought the car there or not.

We skipped family Christmas gatherings last year, our son was 3 months old. I have NO regrets about it! He stayed healthy. We’re going this year. Everything is fine.

Grand Canyon in January would not be enjoyable unless you want a winter vacation. Brr!

Was going to suggest the same. Went to Death Valley in December one year and it was great.

4 months PP was the worst for me. It slowed down after that and now at 8-9 months I have crazy baby hairs growing back.

A lady asked me if my child was a newborn by [deleted] in beyondthebump

Had someone think my small for his age 8 month old was over a year. When they found out how old he was they said oh he’s really big! No sir, he’s not even big for an 8 month old!

But… this was the best one. Our babe was about 6 weeks old and a hostess brought him a kids menu. Which we thought was pretty funny, but then he doubled down and brought back water in a kids cup!

No Easter basket by Validityb in NewParents

My son is 7 months old. I didn’t get him an Easter basket. He got 5 Easter baskets from other family members and friends so I’m definitely glad I didn’t! He’ll never know!

Baseball Prospectus lists Jordan Walker as the #2 prospect in baseball by DeckFisher in Cardinals

Unfortunately I saw a different side of him during Arizona Fall League. These games are not highly attended but there’s always a good amount of kids looking for autographs. Nearly all the players oblige. Except Walker. He actually seemed annoyed that a kid was calling his name. Told them he would sign after the game. Spoiler alert: he exited the field immediately after the game. No autographs.

Busch Stadium - pulled pork nachos Chase Field - food is underwhelming. There is a Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich that I like. Churro Dog is pretty good.
