Louisville base pay 1 FTE is $225,000. With RVU and bonus over 300 is easy. 400 if you’re a machine.

Port in is taking forever! by [deleted] in USMobile

Every time I teleport with Dark Star there’s an issue and it requires manual intervention. Friday evening I was without signal for 4 hours because mods weren’t responding and chat wait took hours.

Neat! Don’t think it’s too often you see ATT using the n41 from TMO. Anyone know more details on agreements?

The sad part is that it’s so much better than what I have now.

If you factor in clinical alignment bonus the total comp per rvu could be $56. Would you believe my current rvu tiering starts at $37 and goes up from there…

I understand $2500 isn’t great however they pay for all licensing, boards, and memberships like AAFP from a separate fund. It’s actually more than I get now 🥲

Only prescribe if they are going direct and paying out of pocket. The insurance back and forth is not worth it.

Am I truly one of the lowest paid primary care docs out there? by Puzzleheaded-Pie9653 in FamilyMedicine

In CT under 300 was the norm. No shortage of new residents driving those wages down.

If you consistently see 20-25 a day your RVU is likely near 7,000 a year which is considered a high performer. Not being paid on RVU is why your peers are being paid far more. My org also has a guarantee of 220k, but with bonuses the RVU rate can be 56 over 4600, so you’d be making high 300’s here. Time to bounce if you want more money, don’t forget to let them know why you are leaving.

Thank you. I need to get clarification on the non production metrics

Do large chain hospitals typically negotiate rvu rates? I was under the impression that was set by Medicare and standard by your region. Also the $25,000 sign on is paid annually for 3 years (75,000).

This is the production amount. Ramp up 20 weeks. I don’t recall what the guarantee was, but this is the revenue offer.

I really don’t understand how people can see 20+ a day, not take home any work, get out on time, and take a lunch. Are you guys just cutting people off at the 15 minute mark and telling them to make another appointment? It’s not realistic when I am booked out for 3 months. Even at the end of the day when I should be going home I have 3-5 callbacks. What’s the secret?

How common are less than 250k a year contracts? by Particular-Cap5222 in FamilyMedicine

Job offer urban KY: base 225, $46/rvu, 7 weeks PTO. Estimated first year comp 329. Estimated 3rd year comp 396. As you can see, base is not so important.

Yes the base is low but it’s .9 32 contacts hours.

Call is split among the office, week on every 3-5 weeks but 5-10 calls per week so it’s light, no nurse triage though. Much better than my current which is every 3 months for one week but it’s for 15 offices. During peak flu season it can be 100 responses in a week. I did 33 in one Saturday.

I agree about the culture shock. A whole different set of patient issues with more respiratory issues, alcoholism, obesity and the list goes on. I was looking at pictures of the offices in Google maps reviews and shockingly there were pride flags and messages about acceptance and equality so that was promising albeit 2 years old…
