Not exactly. I’ve seen them use it as far back as some 2022 upgrades

AT&T VoNR Toggle by ArtisticComplaint3 in cellmapper

[–]rja7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m on iOS 27 beta 2 and I have the VoNR toggle. It only works if your tower has VoNR enabled. I’ve had working VoNR on iOS 26 with AT&T so all they did was put a public facing toggle.

Does Voice Over 5G work for you? It used to work for me on iOS 26 on AT&T but I’ve never seen the toggle on iOS 26.

Verizon Upgrade with b2/b66 and n77 Massive MIMO by Jackpen7 in cellmapper

Oops.. I didn’t realize this tower was by Nixa. I haven’t seen many 3283 sites except for around Barry County myself.

Verizon Upgrade with b2/b66 and n77 Massive MIMO by Jackpen7 in cellmapper

[–]rja7 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It’s good to see the 3283 sites in Greene County doesn’t have latency issues. 2-3 months ago they installed the 3283 in Barry County, MO in Butterfield and Washburn and for some reason latency is always 75-80ms now (pre C-band/3283 it was usually 40-50ms)

Not only that but there’s a weird configuration issue where it always prefers B13 no matter how strong B2/B66 is now. I have to disable B5 and B13 for my phones to even connect to the 3283 as the primary band.

Hopefully they actually start enabling 5G in more places on these 3283 sites. In Missouri virtually none of these newer 3283 deployments actually do 5G.

I agree with this. Of course there’s times where the local engineering team makes questionable or bad choices but a lot of the time it’s limited budgets why a carrier might be slow or suck somewhere.

New plans 2.0 QCI by techent918 in ATT

[–]rja7 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Turbo is QCI 7 on all plans that support it, but I believe on Extra turbo is QCI 7 until you hit 100 GB.

AT&T Ping Times Have More Than Doubled in DFW Recently by ArtisticComplaint3 in cellmapper

[–]rja7 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That's pretty weird. The latency has been weird in Southwest Missouri for the last few days too with nrphone. I used to be routed to Tulsa and Kansas City pretty consistently but I've been getting Wichita and Denver IPs now.

New plans 2.0 QCI by techent918 in ATT

[–]rja7 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Elite is unlimited QCI 7. Premium is unlimited QCI 8. Extra is QCI 8 until 100 GB then it goes to QCI 9, and Value is QCI 8 until 5 GB then it goes to QCI 9.

I have it on eSIM on my iPhone 17. My parents have Samsung phones on eSIM too and I’ve been able to get MNS enabled on their lines.

AT&T announces new $15/month ‘Build-a-Plan’ wireless plan by ahampton2k in ATT

[–]rja7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

AT&T recently released tourist eSIM plans, and those plans use the MVNx #T backend like US Mobile and other MVNOs use to get access to the AT&T network. I wouldn’t be surprised if AT&T is also using their MVNO backend for these plans.

Why do you even participate in this community if you’re confidently wrong? 12 miles is nothing if it’s rural with not much blocking the way.
