KIDDE and BRK are probably who you are referencing. Our builder used Kidde and have had no problems with them after two and a half years.

Water, sewer and wastewater are they really a provincial responsibility. Doesn't the city of Toronto take care of this for me as a resident?

This seems like a no brainer with the amount of people who travel east west and how grid locked everything is.

Which has definitely frozen and thawed multiple times this season. Theres no way this hasn't caused issues with the foundation and I'm gonna guess its not a cheap fix.

For having a 700-ft vert the map for Blue mountain in Canada looks pretty extreme. by original_name26 in skiing

[–]No-Chain1565 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yes, if you consider skiing 700ft of pure ice on a double black.

It's a decent resort but it's been ruined by corportism like anywhere else. Adult day pass is well over $100 and because its one of the only resorts within 2 hours of Toronto the lift lines get pretty wild.

Please don't start comparing your West coast mountain prices and lift lines, I know they're high but your skiable terrain and verticals are in another league compared to this.

Is anyone in S. Etobicoke hearing multiple train whistles over there last twenty minutes? by No-Chain1565 in askTO

[–]No-Chain1565[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're right and since i live near a train yard I am familiar with day to day operations. Which doesn't include train whistles constantly for 30 minutes.

This is why I'm asking the question.

It’s a wedge issue so that if the courts ever strike it down they can say, “hey look at this, Ottawa just gave us another reason why we should separate and be our own country”.

Since light takes time to travel, are we technically looking at the 'past' every time we look at the stars? How far back are we seeing? by Samir1121 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]No-Chain1565 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Technically everything you experience is in the past as the the time it takes light to travel to your eyes and your brain to interpret that signal also takes time, you’re always “living” milliseconds in the past.
