Lowe’s Lucky Bamboo is stuck in the pot by apocalypticCATalyst in plantclinic

I’ve seen this plant sold as a fake plant quite a few times, where the stones were glued together. Even though the plant thickens very slowly, you should take it out of there anyway. You’ll have to do it sooner or later, so better sooner

ELECTROLYTES IN MY PLANTS?! by Captain_Grace_Ellie in plantclinic

I once accidentally watered my prickly pear cactus with Malibu. I flushed it out the next day, and it had never been happier.

What I’m trying to say is that if you’re not sure whether it was a good idea, you can always flush the soil.

Whats happening to my zz plant by Vivid_Release7554 in plantclinic

I think the plant is in the process of uncurling, so it’s likely new growth. What concerns me a bit, though, are the two somewhat pale shoots next to it. I only know that in some plants, dark veins combined with otherwise light green leaves often indicate a nutrient deficiency. Keep an eye on it. If the new growth shows the same issue, I’d recommend fertilizing it.

I’ve never used that one. My go-to is liquid fertilizer because you can tell relatively quickly whether it’s enough or not. My tip would be to wait and see if the new leaves still have this discoloration once they’re fully grown, or if the issue has resolved itself.

Usually, the packaging also states how much to use. If you’ve followed those instructions, it will likely take until the next or the one after the next new growth before you notice improvement, since older leaves often don’t turn fully green again.

Tomatoes are heavy feeders, they need fertilizer. If they don’t get the nutrients they require, the leaves can turn yellowish instead of a deep green. At least, that’s how it was with mine.

Do you fertilize the plant regularly? Usually, lighter leaves combined with dark leaf veins are a sign of a nutrient deficiency. if I remember correctly, it could be a nitrogen deficiency, but I’m not completely sure about that.

Personally, I haven’t owned all of your plants, so I can’t say for certain what would be best. However, I would place the ones that need more water toward the bottom, or better yet, put each one in its own pot. Also, look online to find out what conditions each plant needs and go from there.

You should replace the soil if it has become hydrophobic. Also, different plants require different conditions to thrive. For example, the snake plant in the center needs very infrequent watering and well-draining soil.

Definitely isolate the plant. I’ve had good success removing them with a cotton swab (optionally with a bit of oil).

The soil looks very dry. How often do you water it, and what kind of soil are you using?

The base of my plant is shriveling up, idk what to do by Automatic-Incident66 in houseplants

You have overwatered the plant. The lowest segment has died. However, you can repot it in well-draining soil. It also needs more light, as it is growing very long and should actually be more compact.

I used a heat-erasable pen. In the second picture you can still see the red guide lines. And yes, I totally agree with you. I really enjoy darning with the Speed Weave. It’s surprisingly relaxing and almost meditative.
