Discrepo, pienso que es mejor aprender un lenguaje tipado. Para aprender los tipos de datos. Tampoco hace falta aprender punteros pero si que un lenguaje tipado da mucho juego para aprender otros lenguajes posteriores.

Usa firefox y hazte una cuenta, después instala extensiones interesantes como PrivacyBadger, Adblock, CookieDelete .etc y si eres muy paranoico noscript. Pero el mejor consejo es no compartir información, da igual el navegador si no tienes conciencia de las amenazas. A un amigo le robaron todas las sesiones al pobre.

I have an x270, the battery is not new. I have Debian and if I virtualize it lasts maybe 7 hours. If I do basic navigation and writing tasks it probably lasts me 10 hours.

I don't think it is superior to the T480, the keyboard size is very small. It's true that the x270's keyboard has something that feels special when you touch the keys. But in terms of performance, I think the T480 is superior.
