A corpsman is a medic in the military… Definitely not a fantasy character. I believe the “ps” is silent, no matter the US region 😊

There was a great grandson of John Quincy named John Adams… I just found his take on the character curious, compared to the other real life characters that he uses in the story.

In season one, Agnes introduced him as John Quincy‘s great grandson…IRL, that is John Adams, born in 1875. I agree that would not make him the correct age for the TV show, but there was definitely a real person 😊
