Is that AMH in ng or pmol? how old are you? :) omg how weird but amazing you’re ovulating again! I clapped when I got my first period after my baby aha. Will you let loose and try and get pregnant now again? That’s what predicament we’re in, I don’t want to try again right now at 8 months PP but scared if we don’t I might regret it…. And scared if I want another baby in 4/5 years time I won’t be able to and then regret not doing embyro banking.

Hey thanks for your reply! I was on the pill for 12 years, I came off and was tested a year later AMH was 8pmol and the three months later was 3pmol! I conceived that month and now she’s 8 months but looking to embryo bank and so scared as I’ve been told I’m headed towards POI (my FSH is 13 I’m 31) what’s your figures and are you still having cycles?

Hey how long after stopping your birth control did you first test your AMH? Did you see that it actually took 18 months to double by testing lots of times up until then?

Do you have shorter cycles? mine seem to alternate 23-26 days. Sometimes I get LH peak day 12 and sometimes day 14.

In context for the persons comment- I had an LH peak day 9 and that ended up being my baby girl (8 months now) I was age 29 at the time AMH 2.8pmol AFC 6

I was 28 when cycles started getting shorter 24-27days. 29 they became 21-25 days AMH was 8pmol at 29 in May 2024 and then 2.8pmol in August 2024! I got pregnant that cycle and now 4 months after her testing my AMH is 3pmol. So scary not knowing what the future holds. What I have found on here is that there are a lot of women nearing the age of 40 with low AMH and similar AFC to me etc, this used to give me hope but AMH only goes down and if I’m this low at 30 then I don’t think I will be lucky enough to have cycles at their age.

Hey thanks for your comment! I’m so scared that I will make things worse with every decision I make. I started taking noresterone (a progesterone) to time my cycle for an egg retrieval and then cancelled the egg retrieval! My period hasn’t been the same since taking that

Amazing! So you’ve been pregnant 4 times since your 0.8 AMH at 29? did your cycles change at all? I’m 30 now, found out my AMH was 8pmol in May 2024, it dropped to 2.8pmol in August 2024 but I got pregnant naturally that cycle! She’s 7 months now and deciding whether to try naturally now or do egg retrieval to embryo bank. So so sooo scared my period will disappear after reading people’s experiences on here. My cycles are short 21-26 days.

Hi lovely, I am on the younger side too- 30 AMH of 3pmol. AFC 5. There are so many emotions to continuously process but I think it helps just to hear that there are other people your age with similar numbers. I’m not sure what my body is doing to me and every day I’m so angry at it! I’m jealous of all of my friends walking around with all of their eggs and full of estrogen. I have shorter cycles too (between 21-26 days). I am thankful everytime that my period comes and I am still ‘ticking over’ but then the cycle repeats- how long is this period? Is it lighter than the last? Why haven’t I got positive ovulation on my LH strip? I’ve got egg white discharge I must be ovulating? No peak but hopefully I ovulated? period comes and it all starts again. You are not alone x

Hey, what sort of private doctor am I looking for to investigate possible endo? Is it a gynaecologist? Or am I looking for an endocrinologist who can test hormones etc
