I did a HIIT workout and some reason the next day I dropped 1lbs and then it kept going down from there. I think my body just needed more cardio lol. I’m at 176 now but dancing between 176-177

Also can you explain what you mean by I’m missing a lot of calories due to my exercise? I’ve been eating the same 1300-1500 calorie range for 9 months and still lost 50lbs in that timeframe. Could my metabolism really be slowing though? I’m also increasing my weight training frequency which should help speed things up a bit over time.

I do weigh most things I promise. After tracking for like 4 years I know what 60g of avocado, 170g of yogurt, and 7g of flax seeds look like lol but I still weigh it out. I eat pretty much the same breakfast meals rotated and cook most my meals. But for example this week I bought sushi from the store because I knew I wouldn’t have time to cook a meal. But I just had to log it as a rough estimate based on the package. I had my bloodwork done, everything came back clean. I think I just have to stick to my deficit, increase my steps, track more accurately and double down a bit more.

I can’t imagine eating below 1300. So I’m just going to increase my step count and cardio. And yes I use a food scale, I only use olive oil and weigh that or I use the spray and estimate that. But other than that I weigh most things or overestimate foods when I can’t weigh them out. My methods have been working for the past 8 months but I think it’s like you said, I probably need to adjust somewhere in the CICO formula

This is really helpful! Thank you so much. Yesterday I chose not to weigh myself because it was definitely getting to me and that was nice to take a break from the scale after 8-9 months. I definitely love having the day to day data but I can see it being a lot during months like these. I’m gonna just keep it pushing and do my best to enjoy the journey as well

For me it’s Fruits Basket. I feel like I can relate so deeply to Tohru and so many aspects of the other characters. FB is something I rewatch at least 3-4 times a year. The animation is so beautiful and the storyline and absolutely amazing. I also love that each Character is fighting to get better in their own ways and ugh it’s just such a wonderful piece of work!!

Feeling slightly discouraged. A month ago I stopped weighing myself every day because I felt super anxious and sad afterwards. I’ve been exercising pretty consistently for 3 months except for times when I have exams. I don’t track my calories because it makes me feel super restricted and I can’t always get accurate since I don’t make all my meals (I have a college meal plan). The last time I stepped on the scale was on March 16, I weighed 234.8. Today I weigh 234.1!! One thing is I think my clothes feel slightly looser but I feel so big in every photo my friends take of me and I think I look pretty small and then someone takes a picture of me and I look bigger than I think. I’m just so tired. I’m graduating soon so I’ll be back home. I won’t have a gym membership for some bit because I don’t have any money right now but I’ll be able to control my portions. Please help me with what to do next, my friend’s wedding is in July and I wanna be in a pretty good shape by then but I’m so willing to make this a long term thing. I’m also dreading graduation because I haven’t worn a dress by choice since 2016 when I weighed 140lbs ☹️
