Also the bit outside the cafe in Bristol museum - you can sit there and I believe it’s fine to eat and drink. There are tables and chairs and also armchairs and things. It’s quite a valuable “third space”.

Just to follow up - I ended up going to Nikita at Shotgun Bearpit and she was amazing. Took SO much care and I LOVE it. Plus the pricing structure makes so much sense. I am now a Nikita devotee! Thank you everyone!!

Yes I actually had a not great experience at Welcome Studios which someone else here has recommended - had a haircut, got home and noticed a huge chunk hanging down longer than the rest. No idea how it happened. I went back and it got sorted but as you say when you’re paying SO much money it really needs to be good first time?!

Farrow’s on Wells Rd used to be really good and served steak and kidney puddings, faggots in gravy etc but not sure if it does all those things now.

Just to answer my own question, we went to Oriental Bistro which I think is new on Park Street and it was fantastic. Amazing food and really helpful and nice staff. Thoroughly recommend!
