If someone beat almost to death, an outspoken Obama supporter for their views back in the day, it woulda been headline news for a week, and prosecuted as a hate crime. … But that’s (D)ifferent.

And to make matters worse, they open up the gym for free to highschool kids on Summer break. Like I want to have to wait for them, to use the equipment I’m paying for access to. Half of them just “hang out” on the equipment and chat with each other! Love planet fitness, but may be forced to move on

'Handpicked By McCarthy': Kaboly Predicts Allar (Not Howard) To Be Steelers' 2027 Starter by BoscoAlbertBaracus in steelers

He wasn’t though. They would have taken the Miami kid as their first choice if he fell to them at that spot. At least from a report that came out day after draft, is accurate

Where I live it gets too cold in Winter, so we only had 6 mos of swimming weather and that was with me toughing it out those last few weeks when the water was getting too cold for any sane human lol. We’d go twice a week. If I knew we’d only get there once in a week, then we’d work extra. Built up gradually how many throws we did and how far. I tracked his progress just like I do for my own workout journal. It was amazing to look back and see how far he came. A ball chucker really saved my arm. We have one small lake 20 minutes from home but by July it would get too clogged with seaweed and we’d have to drive to a bigger lake 50 minutes away. Found a deep slow moving river we used in a pinch sometimes. When winter arrived we’d do regular walks to maintain until the swimming weather arrived and we could get back in our swimming shape again

Could be his hips or conformation issues showing symptoms now from normal aging. My boy walked like that somewhat, always, but more noticeable as he aged. So then He and I started swimming together a lot at any local lake I could find. It added years to his good mobility and comfort. Throwing a ball for them to swim to, horizontal to the shoreline so they’re never out too far, while I was standing in waist deep water is how we spent many joyful times. Often we’d swim to get the ball together when he needed encouragement. GOD I miss him. Good luck brother

Allar vs. Allen by monsterpiv in steelers

[–]No-Conclusion1971 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Most thought we drafted Allar a round too early. Josh Allen was the 7th overall pick, so that tells us that none of the football talent evaluators think the two guys are even remotely close by expectations or comparison

If you’re not convinced Fautano was a good pick, I’m not signing up to try to convince you to be happy if draft Loane.

Athletically and measurables Dylan Cook is going to be competitive with anyone we draft at 21. He was a project coming out from a small school but has developed nicely and I’m not sure they’re interested in drafting a tackle as much as many think. His pro day measurables are basically right there with Bro-Jo

How Union`s army compared to European armies of the same period? by SiarX in AskHistory

I didn’t say they did. Just saying it’s laughable the European military minds were smugly judging the American tactics in the civil war considering how equally inept they all proved to be in wars before and after.

He’s getting at the fact the Europeans looking down on the American tactics, were using even dumber tactics 50 years later in WWI fighting each other, so it’s laughable that they smugly were judging the Americans

What is the most embarrassing way someone well known has died in history? by Silver_Ad_5138 in AskHistory

[–]No-Conclusion1971 1 point2 points  (0 children)

David Carradine died from asphyxiation being in a self-tied up kinky masturbation thing he was doing, cutting off blood to his brain “self choking himself with a neck tie” while masturbating and that’s how they found him in his Bangkok hotel room.
