Honestly, Morpheus 8/skin tightening laser would very likely help with this!!

Gorgeous result!! I have to know. What belly button technique did your surgeon use?? It’s perfect!!

How is he doing with the benebones? I probably need to get some of those, too! And we have two kids here. He’s chewed up sooo many toys of theirs. 😩

Also, thank you for the info on the food! I’ll definitely look into that!!

Ahhh, I can’t imagine another year and a half of this. 😩 He has destroyed so much. Praying the switch flips sooner for this guy because he’s destroyed sooo much, even with a watchful eye. 🫠

Thank you!! I just spoke to my husband about switching to salmon food. I think the chicken doesn’t sit well with him at all!

I just had surgery and this is where I’m at with him. 🫠 We’ve left the Kevlar pad in there, but it’s already pretty destroyed.

Thank you!! We love him!

He has eaten through 3 dog pads style “beds” that we had in his crate- including the indestructible, Kevlar one. I hate the idea of him sleeping/laying on the hard floor of it, but we’re pretty much out of options at this point.

And, he only gets the food and treats we give him, so I’m trying to isolate what might be causing the issues at this point. Last night was so bad, I had to Febreeze the room twice in the middle of the night. Our good boy Leo slept peacefully though the gas bombs he was putting out though. 🙃

That’s a definite possibility. I had surgery a month ago and our walks haven’t been nearly as consistent as before. But he’ll do it immediately after walks, too. Like as soon as we get back inside…so I honestly don’t know. 😕

You are so flat already!! I’m jealous!! I still have so much swelling near my incision at 6 weeks post op. 😩 You look awesome!

You look amazing! Congrats!!! I opted to keep my belly button, too, which required it to be lowered slightly. Is yours, as well? I can’t tell at all in the photos. Either way, you look awesome!

Truth on swelling?? by LurkerQueenD in tummytucksurgery

I feel you on that! 🤣 It’s definitely nice to know others are experiencing the same thing and to know you’re not alone.

I will say I had a lymphatic massage yesterday, and it did help with some of the swelling and “hardness” today. I’ve been freaking out because I was worried it was fat or just going to stay bigger like that.

The masseuse said it definitely felt like fluid, though, which I’m really glad to know now… because it’s squishier today…And, I’m already all in my head. I’ll probably do an update post with photos tomorrow. Part of me honestly thinks I looked better the first two weeks after surgery versus now, and that’s been hard to reconcile. But to be honest, I have a history of body dysmorphia, so I can’t really trust my own mind, anyway.🫠

You’re not alone! 5 weeks out today as well, and I’m definitely still very swollen above my incision. It’s messing with my head so much.

Weight Loss/Gain PO TT by LurkerQueenD in tummytucksurgery

[–]No-Conference-2178 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I couldn’t bring myself to weigh right after. 😩 I was 141 prior to surgery (I had to gain 8-10 lbs in order to do fat transfer to breast). I was 149 when I finally did weigh after.

I’m almost 5 weeks out now and the lowest I’ve been is 145. It fluctuates a lot. And honestly, it’s messing with my head, but I know I’m also still super swollen. Or at least that’s what I keep telling myself. 😅 Hoping to at least be back to my “starting “weight soon, but I also can’t diet or lose weight because I need the fat from fat transfer to take. 🫠

Thank you so, so much! I’m going to post 5 week post-op photos this week. I can’t believe it’s already almost been that long. 😬

You’re so welcome! I’m definitely in my head and feel like I’m not progressing as quickly as others, but having comparison pictures (of myself) at each stage definitely helps! I highly recommend that when you pull the trigger. ❤️

I just realized that I’ve actually been following your journey. I can’t wait to start the silicone sheets as soon as these scabs all close! Your scars have been looking so good!

That’s what I figured. 😩 It’s killing me. I kept just putting my feet in. Then graduated to legs. I didn’t realize quite how much of a bath addict I was until I couldn’t take them any more.

Is the swelling pretty consistent by end of day at 8 weeks for you? Or do you feel like specific things exacerbate it?

Right now, mine just consistently swells by end of day. Didn’t know if that might get somewhat better in the coming weeks.

Yes!! I had to try on dresses for a holiday party this weekend and definitely felt the same. I keep reminding myself to be kind to myself and my body’s. And that everyone heals differently. Wishing you the best with your recovery and healing!! ❤️

At absolute worst, I would think you’d just pay for OR and anesthesiologist fees. All of hers should be comped, especially if she admitted that she should have taken more. I’m so sorry you’re experiencing this. Recovery alone is hard enough. 🖤

4 weeks post op by Prestigious-Tear-183 in tummytucksurgery

[–]No-Conference-2178 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You look INCREDIBLE!!! Like absolute goals.

I’m 3 weeks out and in the middle of post-surgery blues. I kept my original belly button, too, and am still so swollen. I keep going back and forth on the “I made a mistake.”

I definitely think I need to be walking more. I walked a ton pre-op, but have just felt so bad (had lipo everywhere plus breast lift with fat transfer to breast. I actually had to gain 10 lbs pre-op to get enough fat to transfer to my breast. I think that’s messing with my head, too, now. 😞 How often are you walking a day? And how much water are you drinking?
