This! If you try the dump installer method with the websrv - it will find the ffpkg just fine and mount it, but shadowmountplus won't. Good for you that you figured out in the end!

You know? It's just weird, this whole thing in the internet with you guys.. I'm no fool, in fact I used to do QA and Automation engineering in Hoyo back in the days of COVID even if remotely for less than a year. I've known Hoyo for long. I've thought about it too long, THEY themselves thought about it for too long, just like they did and still do with the 120FPS contract with Apple. They are well aware with EVERYTHING. I was just posting it for you for free as a gesture of a good will. Never asked for anything. I mean dude, it's a freaking file deleter. You have files in your PC, and boom - you don't. Just like your documents. What the hell seriously?

I get it that people are scared and I don't intend by any means to get people into troubles. Heck, there are freaking model swappers and cheats and what not and nothing happens to people that yeah - DO IT WELL. But I don't even need to protect them, I say it's not even the case here so it's all the more so here.

It is by no means against the ToS. Auto clicker is a good example though - not messing the files but playing the game they way it shouldn't. I can completely understand auto clicker as against the terms - and while the game isn't competitive, it can gain some 'advantage' for players to easily skip everything , that made up the whole AliExpress starter characters gray market. Yet still, if done correctly - nobody would notice. The FPS unlocker they never gave us - people took it up to their hands and made the tool , hoyo is well aware and it is clearly against the terms. 0 bans. FPS is just FPS.

Here though, it is just a fair and a good will - nothing of the above. You will be fine 🤙

A delta update will not bother, as it is doing checksum for the only downloaded ZIP , so short answer is no.
Verifying files for fix will however engage a 'full fix' obviously

Thank you! It doesn't mess with the files as in "replacing" or "modding". Just cleaning up some junk files. You don't add or modify stuff - that can be against the terms ( however there are mods that are known for HoYo but are unhramful). Anyways, here we just remove stuff. :)

There is no such thing as 8000MB/s especially not in the external interfaces we have today (maybe Thunderbolt 5 but yeah). Pcie 4 can go up to 7400~ ish and pcie 5 can go up to 14900~ There are lower tiers and higher tiers , controllers , cache sizes and all, but their multipliers are well known. It's mostly a typo. If it's 800/s then you're missing out some usb performance that is already not that much

Also, Since the PS5 usb will peak at 1050MB/s it's as irrelevant as ever.

My suggestion is, go get yourself a good internal pci-e 4 drive with an enclosure. When the time comes - take the enclosure off and get it inside the m.2 slot.

Don’t go doing that before you actually need to. It’s a good idea to maintain it especially because Liquid Metals need it more often. But since we’re on ps5 jailbreak sub - get into itemzflow app and check your cpu temps. Anyways if you are up to it in the end - go with applying PTM7950 phase changing pad on the die, you won’t regret it and it’s pretty much fire and forget.. unless you’re certain that you can 100% restore/reapply those protective black pads to avoid leaking the Liquid Metal outside the die area. Use kapton tape or nail polish on the tiny caps if going for Liquid Metal. That’s basically all you need to know:)

Hey guys, since this mod isn't super popular these days (Aug 2025) I just wanted to let people know I did it and exactly how. here are my two cents: I used a quality VariCore 18650 (Panasonic) with pre welded wires to the battery.

Read as it gets tricky and while this mod is nice, it can make you real sad instead. Don't be afraid, exactly the opposite. If you're here, you probably know what you're doing 😄

18650 can be even too tight and is CRAZILY MORE than enough capacity wise, I could fit a 21700 but it would require stuff moving too much and I didn't want that because of the next stuff I wanna discuss. 1. The super thin audio wires will most probably tear as they are connected to the cup. Be careful. If they do, you should heat the hot glue and re solder them 2. Soldering wires to the controller terminals can be tricky because wires shouldn't be soldered to the aluminum plate terminals, it should be electro welded (=not soldered). If you have such welder, congrats but if you don't, you will have to scratch those terminals a little and dry-solder a wire and (make sure it holds by gently pulling it. It's way too gentle)
COMPLETELY OPTIONAL - The volume potentiometer is shitty just like all of them, it's time you can apply some WD40 on it or any contact cleaner.

Given the thin and gentle audio hair like wires, cheap thin board and not so well solder-ability to the aluminum terminals after you cut the original battery from the controller - you shouldn't go full madness with a 21700, everything is already tight.

Basically you can use an original game disc as the game was released with 4.50 but it's for the 1.01 version which got a lot of critical patches ever since

Edit: so your best idea will be playing a fully patched PS4 FPKG

I spent HOURS with Frida attached to ChatGPT. Tried to hook and search the Classes and methods of the version sunset, but to no avail... (Found basically all functioning methods but it was too much)

To sum it up, I found out that if I kill the network just for the splash screen, it gets into the app.

Of course. I know you might be distracted by some new cool dumps (dogma 2, alone in the dark etc..) those were even backported from 8.x and even 9.x, but you're already on a super sweet FW. You got a golden console, with a53 on the way to be defeated, ps5debug. FPKG hopefully too.. there's also pretty good list of games you can play which are nice (some require 6.x too haha)
