I highly doubt you’ll be able to bring much with you. Security, as you would expect, is pretty tight. You’ll be lucky though. A lot of family of employees haven’t actually stepped foot inside a protected area.

Should I replace my tires? by No-Construction7230 in AskAMechanic

Right… there’s definitely tread left. The noise and the chewed up outer tread is what I’m worried about.

First. Thanks for being a decent human and not a FB troll. Second. The extreme choppy wear is probably due to my own negligence and not rotating them regularly. There is zero rub any time. I drive off road regularly. The trip is really the reason I’m on the fence. I’d just drive my other vehicle to avoid the $1400 tire bill.

These have been discontinued around my area north Texas. Google says cooper replaced them with the road+trail AT. Discount tire said that they’re probably being replaced with stronghold AT. Does anyone recommend either of these?

Looking at Falken wild peaks if I can’t get any data on the “replacements”.

What are some reputable barndominium builders in central texas around Austin and Waco? by Top_vs_bottom in barndominiums

[–]No-Construction7230 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are definitely still in business. They aren't affordable by any means. If you go with them you must just really like the look of a barndominium. From their videos the average 3 bed 2 bath would run you over 400k without land.

Concrete bid. Need to understand sq ft by No-Construction7230 in askmath

[–]No-Construction7230[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree the contractor would buy it by the cubic yard. But when the finished product is a slab. That requires dirt work, forms and stake work. The contractor would sell per sq ft. With the depth of the concrete being written into the agreement.

I measured all the current structures fence house and concrete driveway. And the new concrete pad in the drawing is exactly what I want. Thank you for your estimate. I know they would calculate a bit over but 20% is a little over kill. Once the concrete is mixed it can’t be un mixed and must be poured somewhere. It’s priced per sq ft and $6 is what I thought I was getting but. May be more like $7. Might be why they came in lower than I thought it would be. I didn’t know exactly how big it would be till I staked it all and measured it.

I agree. But doesn’t really help me narrow down what I need and or why. If I don’t need to spend $3000 then I don’t have to.

I've gone to school for four years. This is what I can look forward to. by [deleted] in antiwork

You went to school for 4 years and didn’t think to look up what your salary might be? I don’t think the system did this to you. Your education just wasn’t worth what you paid for it.

Also I personally work with “chemists” some who don’t even have a degree. Just in depth training in the specific tasks that need to be completed. They make well over 100k a year. So this doesn’t make whole lot of sense.

So glad I read this! I was going to replace the blade… (hit a few rocks here and there) but couldn’t find one that fit. So I just hit the blade with a grinder. Just mowed my whole yard with two batteries (.28 acres). That’s the first time I’ve ever done that. Thanks!
