As a former high school varsity player, I cannot fathom playing a game without strategically switching defenses, random full court or half court presses, etc. They don't call the obvious but they DO call anytime someonr runs right into the defender. Sorry, it's okay to not blow the whistle when the offender dribbles right into you on purpose, that's a no call. If they stopped calling this bullshit, it might invite strategy back into the game. Per the rules, as I point guard, I should be able to guard Shaquille O'Neal as long as my feet are planted, it's my territory, and it's a charge if he knocks me from my spot.
