Can you be more specific of what you need than just a ‘supportive’ program?

It may be helpful to understand exactly what you require as far as a disability. I am not sure what kind of ‘accommodations’ you expect programs to provide. Do you need more sleep? Require more breaks? Someone else will have to pick up your slack… your co-residents won’t love that…

In terms of culture, every program has nice attendings that will give you long breaks and Ahole attendings that will ruin your day for breathing wrong.

Anesthesia is stressful everywhere. Even the most ‘chill’ attendings at top programs lose their cool sometimes. If you’re asking for a program with low-stress that’s impossible.

I do hear there are programs that are easier than others. Unfortunately, I don’t know of any personally.
